Met-Art is one of the most widely talked about erotic photography websites on the net today. In existence since 1999, it comes to no surprise that the amount of content available on this site surpasses most that try to emulate them. Currently with over 270,000 photos and 300 movies, potential members can be assured that they will find no shortage of content. The exclusive live video section is an exceptional bonus as well. Met-Art claims they are the first and only erotic nude site to offer this feature. The extensive free tour alone with high and low resolution photo samples has more content then your average softcore erotic site. Page after page of fresh youthful beautiful models photographed in a professional artistic fashion clearly sets the tone for what one should expect inside.

At the time of this review (April 2006) Met-Art is undergoing a complete revamp of the members area that took in excess of eight months to develop. I have the pleasure of seeing and introducing this new members area to you prior to its official launch. 

Submerging myself into the members area I find a very clean, well designed, simple to navigate system. Clearly a site with this much content needs simple, clear navigation, and the staff at Met-Art have accomplished this. Pay close attention to the menu at the top or bottom of the page. This menu is extensive and will allow you to navigate all the areas of the site. For starters you can choose any year from 1999-Present to view the content for that year. Because they do so many updates the menu is further broken down by month. If you want to see the updates for December 2001 just click on the "2001" link followed by the "December" link. It is that simple. Additional navigation links allow you to jump from month to month from within the chosen year.

Tabs across the top of the menu will bring you to the different content areas. I will break them down for you as follows:

"Movies" - This is where you will find the bulk of the 300+ movies that Met-Art has produced. Each movie set has a thumbnail preview complete with some brief information on the video. The name of the model(s), title of the set, date the set was added, and whether the movie is PSP or IPOD compatible. When you click the thumbnail you will be greeted by a clean simple interface. You can play or download the movies in DivX, Quick Time, MPG, WMV, and the PSP/Ipod formats (if available for that set).  The video quality is excellent in all resolutions. The higher resolution DivX formats are a real treat to watch. The models are all gorgeous and unique. The back drops are beautiful and complement the models nicely. Each video is a true erotic and artistic experience that you will enjoy. When you are done watching a specific movie you can either return to the archives, click the arrow graphic to go to the next scene, or follow one of the six thumbnail previews beneath the current set featuring additional sets released around the same time. The way this area is set up allows for you to flow constantly through this amazing content.

"Live Cams" - The live cam area is unique to Met-Art. You can watch a gorgeous model live on cam five times a day for 2 hours. Met-Art provides you with the show times in many different time zones. The Live Cams are powered by the Macromedia Flash Plugin. Be sure to read the rules before entering the live session as these shows are more refined when compared to your typical cam site. I caught one of the shows which proved to be interesting. Our entertainer for the show was a gorgeous fiery red head named Olya. As Olya chatted with other members of the site about whether a tattoo on a woman is attractive I played around with the different settings. The quality of the shows are excellent. By default the speed is set to slow but you can switch to medium or fast speeds as well as full screen mode. You can make these changes all on the fly with very little interruption in the action. You will not find any hardcore action in these shows but regardless it is a great way to get to know the models that you view throughout the site.

"The Best Of Met-Art" - This is a collection of special selected photos that have not been published to the regular Met-Art photo archives yet.

"On Met-Art" - This area gives you all the latest news that pertains to Met-Art.

"Top Models" - Gives you access to the Met-Art models previewed by thumbnail images.

"Met DVDs" and "Books" - Gives you the opportunity to purchase the amazing Met-Art DVDs or books that Met-Art recommends.

"Special" - Complete with sample galleries this area takes a closer look at the many photographers and artists that have submitted work to Met-Art. 

You will also find a search function as part of this menu (complete with advanced options). If you want to find a specific model just type in her name. If you are looking for a scene or particular back drop just type it in and click search. For example I enjoy beach scenes. Putting in the word beach brought gave me plenty of beach scenes.

The photos are what make up the bulk of the content found on Met-Art. I have never seen such a large collection of photos on a single site. Updated frequently (sometimes more then once daily) you can access the galleries from the main page. As previously mentioned you can view sets back to 1999 month by month. Clicking on one of the preview thumbnail images takes you to the full gallery. The galleries themselves are superb. Each gallery page consists of 20 thumbnail images complete with file and image sizes. You can view the photos in high (up to 4000+ pixels) or low (1000 pixel range) resolution. A complete set of navigation tools at the top of each gallery page allows you to move from set to set, download the complete set in zip format, and navigate the gallery pages following the graphic links. The full size images are amazing. As expected the navigational tools are at your disposal to move from full size image to image with ease. You can change resolution and resize the image to fit your browser on the fly. All the great options make viewing the gorgeous models even that much more of a pleasure. You can vote for the models on a scale of 1-10 at the bottom of the gallery. You can even vote on the models separately if the set contains multiple models.

I cannot reiterate enough how outstanding the content is. The models are absolutely gorgeous and range in age, ethnicity, body shape, and location. Each photo or video set is unique in its own way. You will not find hardcore action on this site but you will find the true beauty of a woman seen through the artistic eyes of the photographers.
