The idea of erotic beauty is never far from the mind of the artist, the adventurer, or the romantic, and deny it as you might should it conflict with your socially-constructed notions of masculinity, you, dear reader, are likely at least one of these types of men. You are, after all, reading a review of an adult website that is a far cry from the almost offensively lowbrow likes of Don't Tell My Girlfriend I Butt-fucked Her Daughter and Occupy My Ass; a site operating under the name Erotic Beauty. If these two evocative words aren't the clearest descriptors of this content held on this site, I don't know what possibly could be. A transformed, reinvented upgrade of one of the 'net's classic erotica sites, Erotic Beauty takes Met Model's well-established house style of sophisticated, high-quality visual renderings of beautiful European models and upgrades it for  a fresh new audience. Will said audience include you? If you've got the required membership fee of $29.99 and a taste for sensual nude photography, I don't see why it shouldn't, do you? Still, you never know when a 404 error, anonymous models, or low-res photos will strike, so let's take a magnifying glass to Erotic Beauty and investigate every single pixel. Mmmm.

Pros:
Like, stellar parentage, Erotic Beauty! Folks, this site now shows off its Met-Art roots in a more adult and keenly developed way. No longer looking like a clone of the larger, more well-known site, and essentially delcaring itself one with its former Met Models moniker, Erotic Beauty seesm no to be more of an independant, autonomous endeavor.

With an exceptional gallery design and fluid navigation across the site, all of Erotic Beauty's content is presented very nicely. The incredibly high quality photos that are the Met sites' trademark are showcased on these freshly designed pages. Images now reach resolutions of 1024x683, 2024x1365, and 4773x3182, all three of which can be viewed online or downloaded in zipped sets.

Erotic Beauty's photo galleries offer splendidly photographed shots of some of Europe's most enticing young women. Often shot in outdoors in forests and fields, on beaches, and bathing beneath the warm glow of sunlight. Inside shoots are just as erotic and generally take place on sets made to look like lushly decorated bedrooms. The aesthetic here is sophisticated yet slutty.

A new gallery is added to the site twice each day, helping the current 2400-gallery archive grow steadily larger. While that might not seem like all that much value for your thirty bucks a month, it most certainly is worthwhile when you factor in Mr. Pink's $19.95 discounted monthly membership deal that gets you inside Erotic Beauty at a bargain price.

Cons:
Met Models seemed to be doing fairly well on its own. Sure, it didn't exactly stand diametrically opposite Met-Art, but they did have their own unique quirks and personalities. Was the huge move to an newly designed and constructed website operating under a different name really worth it?

A discussion on a porn forum I stumbled upon put it this way: "I think most people had the impression that it was just the smaller inferior sister site of Met-Art where they dumped the content that didn't make the grade to be showcased on Met-Art." And, in reply, "...but isn't that what it essentially is?" Touche, keen observer. Touche.

A small but noteworthy collection of videos is one feature of Met Models that doesn't seem to have been transported over to this newly rebranded version of the site; they've been abandoned completely to allow Erotic Beauty to focuses entirely on still imagery. Some might suggest this is for the better, what with the Met Models video archive laying dormant with just a few dozen items.

The new name, Erotic Beauty, is unfortunately as bland and lacking in dynamism as the content it identifies. While Met-Art clearly hosts most of the premium content shot by this collaborating group of photographers, Erotic Beauty does indeed seem something like a collection of leftovers that, while intriguing on the surface, doesn't really do much to establish its individuality. One would hope the launch of Erotic Beauty would rectify that old Met Models issue, but it hasn't as yet managed to.

Conclusion:
An adult website changing its title and rebranding its content can seem like an abandonment of established principles and aesthetics and, in some cases, can come off as a last ditch attempt at saving a site that has been losing subscribers and money for some time. Whether or not that is the case with Erotic Beauty (formerly Met Models) remains to be seen. A few more months under this new banner and it should be easy to form a definitive view regarding this new ventures' worth. Even at this early stage, though, it seems Erotic Beauty is a streamlined improvement over its former digs. The content is still presented in resolutions so high and in frames so sharp you can practically feel the goose pimples forming on a models thigh while shooing outside on a chilly autumn afternoon. Unfortunately, the video content has been left behind, but that's not such a big deal considering how weak that part of Met Models was. Erotic Beauty seems to have simply uprooted Met Models' content, slapped a bright suave new logo on it, and presented it on an efficient website. What more can you ask for from a rebranding and upgrade like this?
