Miss Youth review

Overview:
Well, the subject of today’s review, Miss Youth, is not focused on the long dismissed art form of beauty pageantry. Instead, Miss Youth features sexually exuberant late-teens, early-twenties women who have no problem shedding their clothing for an audience. Claiming to showcase “teens like no others on the internet”, Miss Youth is yet another in a long line of porn sites that believe the ages of 18 to 23 are the best of a woman’s life. Not only is she then at her most physically attractive, but she’s usually more likely to engage in promiscuous sex or sexual acts that she might not welcome later in life – although that’s often largely because of her frequent use of alcohol and party drugs. Be warned - Miss Youth is nowhere near as sedate and respectable as an actual beauty pageant. These potential Miss Americas are definitely a bit too adventurous for Bob Barker and Dick Clark. I doubt they’d take very kindly to finding out their newly crowned queen used to get fucked in the mouth for a few thousand bucks and can be seen doing so all across the Internet – well, specifically at Miss Youth.

Miss Youth’s tour page presents us with a veritable smorgasbord of young harlots, some of whom will be familiar to anyone who knows what DP, BGG, and ATM stand for. Scarlett Pain, Faye Reagan, Cassandra Calogera, Andi San Dimas, and even Aria Giovanni make appearances, although often under different names. A notice on the tour page say that there are over 400 models on the site, unlimited downloads of the 500+ videos and 100,000+ “high quality” images. The content previews seen here are presented in that tried and true magazine-cover format usually favored by European erotica sites. Who knows, maybe Miss Youth will be a nice combination of those sites’ sophisticated style and good old dirty American hardcore. The Miss Youth members’ area is unfortunately in need of a redesign. While the colors are nice and pleasant and you’re given a nice look at a lot of pretty young ladies, the whole thing looks rather dated. The quality of the thumbnails leaves a bit to be desired and the site’s premise just calls out for something – I don’t know – snappier! Thankfully, navigation across the site is pretty straightforward, thanks in part to the menu system. Located at the top of the page, the main menu links you to Home, Updates, Models, Photos, Videos, Coming Soon, Store and Help. The rest of the homepage is filled with previews of the most recently added content, both video and photo. Updates seem to arrive on a pretty consistent basis – one new gallery and one new scene each weekday – which is always good to see. These updates add to an already fairly extensive archive of 630 galleries and 264 videos. Easily the best way to find your first scene or gallery is to check out the model index, which is always the first place I go on a model-centric porn site. If the chicks ain’t no good, the site ain’t no good. Knowwhatimsayin’?

Aside from the previously mentioned pornstars, Miss Youth also gives a home to a gaggle of newcomers to the adult industry. Combined, you have a 423-woman-strong army of gorgeous young hotties ready to do whatever they can to please their paying customers. Nine drop-down menus allow you to tailor your model browsing to your established (and long-debilitating) personal preferences. Age, eye color, hair color, cup size, height, weight, ethnicity, country (of residence), and state (of North America, not being, for all you philosophy students out there) should help you find exactly the right girl for you. Considering how in depth this system is, I’m surprised they haven’t included content categories and other defining characteristics of the models (tattoos, piercings, “innie” or “outie” et al). Another disappointment comes from the lack of wothrwhile model profiles. Sure, every girl on the site has her own “profile” page, but it doesn’t hold any information about her life, background, work history, hobbies or the like. All these pages provide are links to that particular models’ photo and video work featured here on Miss Youth. If this was a beauty pageant, it’d be one of those low-rent mall-based ones in Delaware, where the contestants might be cute-as-hell, but the entire production is jeopardized by the host’s hangover and the stage manager’s unacknowledged legal blindness. 

Each photo gallery presents you with a few methods of enjoying its spoils: a zipped archive of the entire set and a thumbnail display that allows you to rifle through and choose shots at your leisure. Upon opening, the latest images hit a nice big resolution of 1500x1000 pixels. The lighting is generally very professional and flattering to the models, bringing out their (usually natural) beauty in every frame. Some of the models seem a bit awkward in their poses, but most are having an obviously good time and keep a sweet smile on their faces when they’re not biting a lip or licking a dildo. Yes, you heard right – a dildo! These ladies go all out and don’t mind masturbating; some even get into hardcore territory with men and/or women, which, in the case of someone like Scarlett Pain, isn’t at all surprising. (She’s a bit of a, well, slut, you know? But she gets paid for it and we get to watch, so it’s not like it’s anything to be ashamed of.)

Videos are presented in much the same way the photo galleries are, with the obvious exceptions; instead of zip files and thumbnails, you’re given the option of downloading or streaming the scene in WMV format. While streams look pretty good, the downloads look better, reaching 720x576 and occasionally 1280x720, although on a few of the occasions where I did find one of these theoretically HD scenes (they’re not labeled “HD”), the actual image was sandwiched between two large black bars on the left and right, making it really only a slight increase on the 720x576 videos. Even though there aren’t a plethora of High Definition videos available on Miss Youth, the videos that are online generally look pretty good. There’s the intermittent dip in quality that gives you washed out colors and a distinct lack of clarity, but aside from that, most members should be reasonably happy, if not totally chuffed. But will that be enough to satisfy their overall cravings for youthful adult entertainment? What about bonuses? Everyone wants bonuses, right?

Well, folks and fillies, you’re shit outta luck. Miss Youth offers absolutely nothing in the way of bonus material. No free website access; no additional galleries or videos; nothing. For almost $30 a month, you’d hope they’d throw something free your way, but I guess that’s not how these particular webmasters roll. Speaking of rolling, I’m about to roll on out. Scope out these pros and cons and maybe we can get together later. Don't you owe me a drink?

Pros:
- Updates arrive every weekday – nice!

- Great search options allow you to tailor you browsing to your specific tastes.

- Photos appear at nice high resolutions and make the most of the gorgeous models.

- Hardcore and softcore – in one place? You bet your sweet aunt fanny!

Cons:
- Some of the content sure seems to have been licensed from a variety of production companies and might be stuff you’ve seen before.

- With a much larger photo than video section, Miss Youth needs to focus on the latter area in the future.

- Models aren’t given proper profile pages, merely links to their online content.

- Videos could definitely use some more viewing and format options. It’d also help if all videos were the same resolutions and some HD content wasn’t pictureboxed.

Conclusion:
If Miss Youth were a pageant IRL (that’s In Real Life), I’d lobby so damn hard for a position on the judges bench. Who wouldn’t want to watch over 400 pretty young things strip, stroke, suck, and fuck their way to a flimsy little sateen sash? With a fairly large archive of galleries and a reasonable video stash as well, there’s quite a lot of content here that’ll please any teen porn fan worth his salt. What is disappointing, however, are the frequent internal mutterings of “I could’ve sworn I saw that photo set on Teen Sluts 4 You last year” and “Damn, this chick again! She’s on every teen porn site known to man!” (In case you hadn’t picked up on it, content isn’t always exclusive here.) The design of Miss Youth could also use an overhaul. Overall, Miss Youth isn’t on a beeline to center stage, but she’s certainly got some fine curves and is set to score highly in the ‘special talent’ category – if they don’t disallow cowgirl-style Sybian riding, that is.
