Pink Visual Pass review

Overview:
As the diehard Mr. Pink’s fan I know you must be, surely you wake up in the mornings and exclaim, “Gee, wow! Another day in paradise…I’m just so lucky to be alive at this point in history, when all I need to do is power up my WebTV and surf on over to MrPinks.com to get the straight dope on Internet pornography. And the best part is, it’s 100% free – I’ve got an ALL-ACCESS PASS to Mr. Pink’s thought provoking and insightful criticisms! Man, life is so AWESOME!” I feel you, brothers and sisters, and I appreciate your enthusiasm. It feels pretty great to have an all-access pass to something, doesn’t it? Especially when that something contains over 2500 scenes, HD-quality videos and a buttload of free cam shows and bonus streams. Now, while I can (and do) offer you an all-access pass to my brain, I’m afraid I can’t offer you one to a magical land like the place I just described. I know who can offer you one, though – Pink Visual Pass. For the nominal fee of $1.95 (per 1-day limited access trial), $9.95 (per 7-day limited access trial), $29.95 (per 30 day membership *Mr. Pink's Discount) or $69.95 (per 90 day membership), you can gain access to the warm, soft confines of Pink Visual Pass (from here on out referred to as PVP). And what is PVP, you ask?

PVP’s a treasure trove of reality porn that covers nearly all niches, from college girls and cumshots to housewives and trannies. According to its tour page, “exclusive membership benefits include 20 weekly network updates, free live chat, downloadable vids and pics, and member-directed episodes!” Sounds good, no? The tour page also promises video resolutions “up to 1920x1280”, 95 updates per month, 85+ bonus feeds, and 15 live cam shows daily. Sounds great, no? If the webmasters fulfill these promises, their pink pass may be even more of a deal than Mr. Pink’s! (Though I doubt it.) Want to check out the member’s area and find out? Of course you do!

Upon logging in to PVP, you may find yourself overwhelmed by options – spoilt for choice, as it were. The main member’s page is filled to the brim with images and links, all begging for your immediate attention. A pictorial link to the site’s most recent HD addition is at the top of the page, followed by links to a video speed test, live customer support, new members features and a helpful “getting started member tutorial.” Below this is a scrolling thumb menu of PVP content, followed by links to free cam shows, the latest news, and the latest reality site updates. You’ve no doubt already heard of a number of PVP’s network sites, which include classics like Back Seat Bangers, College Wild Parties, Wild Fuck Toys, She Got Pimped and Insane Cock Brothas. Pics, descriptions and links to the freshest flicks from 11 of the network’s exclusive sites are listed on this main page, and all of ‘em have been updated within the past three days. Nice!

There are two main navigational menus, located on the left hand side and top of each page. The left hand side’s menu gives you the option to search the network by model, sites, or content; this is followed by links to live customer support chat, a member’s poll, a “Random Episode” link, an “Episode Request” form (which you can use to suggest future scenes or models), top sites and a couple of ads for iPod porn and discount DVDs. The top menu takes you to My Favorites, Reality Sites (a list of the 25 sites currently in the PVP network, sorted by date of last upload), Bonus Content (86 sites that cover damn near every niche known to man), Bonus Network (links to 3rd party VOD, dating and sexual aid sites), How it Works (everything you need to know about using PVP) and a drop down list of Customer Service options (in case you haven’t noticed, they’re real big on customer service here). Enough of the chit-chat, though – let’s get down to business. Follow me to the videos!

Once you’ve found the network site of your dreams, you’ll be presented with a standard-looking directory of thumbnail pics of broads; click on one and you’re in video town, baby. Each video page gives you its featured model’s name and age, followed by the date of upload and a brief description of what goes down in the scene. All vids can be downloaded or streamed in their entirety or in parts; while older updates are a bit spotty option-wise and don't always offer downloads, new ones give you the choice of dial up, DSL, broadband, T1 and HD quality. Streaming vids are presented as Flash and WMV files – the resolution of these (as well as the downloadable WMV files) begin at 428x240 and max out at 1068x680. The oldest content is mostly provided as 320x240 MOVs, a resolution that’s questionable at best. The HD WMVs, however, look pretty damned good – while the style is decidedly amateur, the colors are crisp and clear, and the action is fast and dirty. Even the streaming vids look swell, loading quickly and doing their thang without too much pixilation or buffering. PVP currently hosts 2654 videos, all of which run approximately 30 minutes. Dude, that’s over 76,000 minutes of fucking! You may want to clear your calendar.

Each video on the PVP network has an accompanying photo gallery, which is located on the same page as the vid content. On the average, pics for old updates are screencaps, but more recent videos are accompanied by professionally shot snaps. Screencap or legitimate photograph, all images are 800x600, and there are around 200 pics per gallery. Some, but not all, galleries can be downloaded as ZIPs, but all can be viewed as slideshows. It goes without saying that the newer, pro-shot pics look better than the screencaps, but all pics are pretty decent. They brightly and accurately represent what’s going on in the videos, and isn’t that what they should do? I must admit, however, they could stand to be a little larger.

And that’s all he (meaning me) wrote! Wait, what? You’re not entirely convinced of the virtues of a PVP membership yet? You say you want me to break it down into pros and cons for you? But I’ve got this thing I’ve gotta get to…wait, what’s that you’re flashing? Your ALL ACCESS PASS to MrPinks.com? Oh, I’m sorry – I didn’t know you were a VIP. I’ll get those pros and cons out to you right away, sir!

Pros:
- There’s, like, a shitload of content here, and that’s just taking into account the network itself. When you also factor in the live cam shows and bonus sites, fugghetaboutit!

- Multiple network sites are updated on a daily basis, meaning there’s always a wide variety of fresh content to peruse.

- There are tons of opportunities for member involvement, ranging from the ability to rate scenes and bonus sites to the power to suggest future episodes. At PVP, the people have the power!

- Video resolutions and download options are, while nowhere near perfect, still top notch for a network site.

Cons:
- The site may seem pretty overwhelming to new members, as each page is cluttered with links and garish, animated GIFs. In short, it’s easy to get lost here.

- The webmasters stretched the truth a bit on their tour page; none of the site’s HD vids reach 1920x1280, and there definitely aren’t 95+ updates per month. Hope that’s all they decided to lie about.

- The quality of many of the bonus feeds is subpar. (Though I’m sure you could have told me that.)

- The “Bonus Network” area of the site is just a page full of ads for dating services, pocket pussies and VOD sites. Pssh – some bonus!

- Quite a few of the older videos do not offer downloads.

- Video download speeds can be occasionally slow.

- Pink Visual tends to lease out some of their content which makes a quite a few scenes non-exclusive.

Conclusion:
Let’s face it – there are a lot of piss poor porno networks on the Internet. Low resolutions, uninterested models, countless error pages and ancient VHS rips plague these shitty sites, resulting in bitter, frustrated members. What’s a man who wants more bang for his cyberbucks to do? Go to Pink Visual Pass, that’s what. Now, they’re not perfect – a number of promises made on their tour page have, as of yet, gone unfulfilled – but who among us is? They definitely put some effort into their network, with a reasonable update schedule, nice looking and titillating videos, and a wide variety of bonus content. There’s a reason why a number of the sites on this network have become household names (Bang Boat, anyone?). It’s ‘cause they’re good, man! So if you can withstand a few negatives, I think you will find Pink Visual Pass a viable option when shopping for your next network.
