Overview:
All too often it seems pornography goes straight for the cumshot and avoids anything remotely resembling erotica or, dare I say it, art. During the Golden Age, there were plenty of XXX movies that felt like they strived for something more than its audience’s ejaculate; something intangible and usually elusive, sure, but something greater tits and ass all the same. X-Art is a site that, true to its name, is attempting to rejoin the often uncomfortable bedfellows art and porn. Venturing into territories far more hardcore than most of its erotic art contemporaries, X-Art is the kind of porn you most assuredly imagine when people mention “couple’s porn”; that is, porn that will get you hard but also put your lady in a romantic, amorous mood. Boasting more than 100 stunningly sexy models from all across Europe and the USA, captured in still and moving images by some of the world’s most exciting pornographers, and presented to you in High Definition video formats and image resolutions that leave no body part obscured, X-Art’s mission seems a simple one, difficult to achieve but rather straightforward: to bring you, the home viewer, porn that isn’t excessively porno-styled and relies instead on beautiful cinematography, evocative lighting, subtle makeup, and realistic performances from both the stunningly attractive female models and the incredibly lucky men who get to, quoth Trent Reznor, feel them from the inside. Costing $19.95 a month and with a history stretching back just a few years, could X-Art be online porn’s best kept secret?

Pros:
With a remarkably original mix of softcore and hardcore content, X-Art sits comfortably in between mainstream American hardcore and European erotica, straddling the best of both styles with surprising ease. You rarely get the feeling these performers are doing anything but enjoying themselves and each other, which makes for very intense sex.

Only the most physically perfect young women are allowed to grace the pages of X-Art and you’ll find some of the adult entertainment world’s most impressive girls online here: Melanie Rios, Faye Reagan, Marie McCray, Emma Mae, and Ash Hollywood are just the tip of the iceberg.

Few sites manage to be as visually impressive as X-Art. Cons:

Now that X-Art has started to investigate certain hardcore acts a little more closely, it’d be great if a keyword tag system was brought online to help users find exactly the content they want.

X-Art, I’m afraid, can sometimes seem a little too pretentious for its own good (see: the use of the word “fini”, the excessively Vaselined lenses). Some members have noted in the comments that they feel the site’s style is being slowly eroded by the need to show more explicit hardcore sex. Which way is X-Art going? Only time will tell.

Conclusion:
X-Art seems to be reaching a critical point in its growth. The site’s signature soft-focus has not been abandoned, nor has the devotion to lithe young beauties with incredible bodies, but some X-Art members seem to feel the performances have become less realistic and the scenarios a touch more produced. X-Art is by no means transforming into a run-of-the-mill hardcore porn site, but there has been a noticeable shift in style. Still, there’s nothing else quite like X-Art online and, with such gorgeous women gracing the site, stripping, masturbating, exploring each other, and engaging in sensual hetero sex, all presented in dazzling High Definition video formats and in photos of equally impressive size and clarity, this is still a site that’s well worthy of your time and your twenty dollars.
