Overview:
It seems the people behind Anilos like to make things up. The site’s title is displayed as part of a dictionary style definition, telling us that it means: “1. Of or like a woman of advanced years; a mature woman of interest”; and “2. Commanding respect because of great age or impressive dignity”. With no language of origin specified and the true etymology of the word unknown to us laymen, I can only assume that the webmasters have created their own – quite an impressive feat for a small cadre of niche pornographers. Quite obviously, Anilos specializes in mature women of ages 35 to 60 in what appears to be a dedicated, professional manner. While there are quite a number of websites that focus on this niche, Anilos looks, upon first impressions, to be a slicker production than most. The tour page promises over 100 models, 50000 images, and more than 140 GB of video content available in multiple formats and resolutions, including High Definition WMV. What’s more, content is exclusive, you can message the gorgeous models, and downloads are reported to be “fast”. After taking a look at the Most Popular Models display below these boasts, you’ll no doubt agree that Anilos isn’t like most mature porn sites – this one actually features a wide range of older women; the models aren’t cut off at 45. Great news for all you granny admirers out there! Hello? Granny fans? Hello?

Anilos’ members’ area is a pleasure to use, largely due to the great website design - minimal obstructions, maximum information, all easily readable. There’s a menu section at the top of your page, with Updates, Upcoming, and Top Rated Scenes the main links. Beneath that is another collection of navigation links, including Model Directory, Search, Video Page, and a bunch of settings, help pages and user-end function links. Further down the page, you’ll see a smattering of the more recently added content. It appears that new content is put online everyday, with occasional days yielding multiple additions. This is actually a small step down from the way Anilos was adding content last time Mr. Pink dropped by for an inspection, when there were two to three new items online everyday. Still, I’m fairly confident Anilos and I can work through this small obstruction, keeping our relationship as golden as these models’ reclining years.

Anilos seems very proud of its model profiles, announcing that they’re available and exciting anytime they can manage to drop it into conversation. They’ve got no reason to be bashful, that’s for sure, as the profiles are quite good, featuring a large portrait photo of the model, as well as her vital stats and a brief bio. There’s often a link – My Biography – that leads to a detailed Q&A session with the model that covers everything from her high school years and introduction to porn, to her current sexual habits, both inside and outside of the workplace. A little lower on the profile page is a list of everything your selected model has done for Anilos. The woman I chose, Yolanda, has four photo galleries and three video scenes currently online. All of these are represented by preview pics, update details, number of pics/video runtime, and viewing options. Let’s just hope Yolanda’s work is just like Fonzie, and what’s Fonzie? From the model’s profile page, galleries can be accessed two ways: by clicking the “enter this set” button, you’ll be able to view each image individually, selected from a page full of thumbnails; or there are two zip archive files available for download, in either medium or large size formats. The gallery pages are very easy to use and include a number of neat options. First of all, you can select from large and small images via a link near the top of the page. Also held up top are links to the zip files, in case you missed them earlier, and a link back to the model’s profile. After looking over the collection of thumbnails and deciding which photo will get you hardest the fastest, clicking on it will open the full size version in your browser window. The small pics are actually decidedly large, hitting a resolution of 1200x800 pixels. The large photos are even more impressive, at 2400x1600 pixels. Both look very good and show off the wonderful, professional work of the photographers. All photos are clean, clear and perfectly framed to best show off both the action of the shot and stunning looks of the mature models.

The videos also have a decent number of viewing options available, varying slightly depending on where you’re looking at them. If you’re on the model’s profile, videos won’t have their own dedicated viewing page, instead just listing all the formats and download links there. Streaming is available in Flash format and looks pretty decent, if not overwhelmingly spectacular. You can download scenes either in full (MPG and WMV formats) or in chaptered parts (MPG only). The largest video is the 1280x720 WMV, which looks absolutely gorgeous and is the ideal way to view these older babes as they suck, fuck and otherwise enjoy their seasoned sexuality. The MPG videos only hit a resolution of 640x360 pixels but still look good, especially for small videos. Pros:
- The model roster is something Anilos’ webmasters should be very proud of. There’s a great range of ages, styles, nationalities… you name it, Anilos has it.

- HD videos are available and look great!

- Photos are also presented in high resolutions. Downloadable zip files are a very helpful addition.

- With at least one new item added every day, there’s a lot to enjoy here at Anilos.

Cons:
- If it wasn’t for the hella sweet deal Mr. Pink scored for you all, Anilos, at almost $30, might be a little out of your price range.

- Not all of the content is hardcore. Much of it is softcore and some is even non-nude.

-Some of the models are out of range to be classified as “mature”. Hell, they’re only 28! 

Conclusion:
Anilos does many, many things very, very right. The models are gorgeous and most of them are probably older than you, dear reader; the HD videos look very nice, as do the photos; updates come pretty frequently (though not as frequently as they used to); and scenes depict both soft and hardcore mature sex action. What’s not to love? Well, there is perhaps a little too much softcore content and it’d be great to see the webmasters stick more stringently to the 35-and-over rule, getting rid of those pesky 28-year-olds, but aside from those few quibbles, Anilos represents all that is good and delicious about mature porn. The webmasters have even managed to keep out those crazy Alzheimer’s patients. Good thing, too, since they often forget where they stashed that 12” black glass dong they used to be so fond of.
