Overview:
Up until a few years ago, the term "motherfucker" was still a huge insult. Calling your buddy a motherfucker because he just drank the last beer would, more often than not, enrage him and result in a physical confrontation. If some four-eyed idiot backed into your car in the Best Buy parking lot, motherfucker would probably be the first insult to leave your lips. Nowadays, however, the term has lost a lot of its power. Since the MILF revolution, in which being over 40 still meant a woman could be found attractive by guys in their early 20s, the term motherfucker has evolved (or devolved) into something that's used to describe how positively one might feel about something, be it a party, an original cocktail creation, or an athlete's performance. The abbreviation "mofo" is less widely used and has a slightly different meaning, implying that the person at whom it is directed is a badass and not necessarily someone who fucks someone else's mother. The Mofos Network call themselves "The mofos of porn", and, assuming that isn't simply the self-aggrandizing claim of a braggart, we can definitely expect some cheeky and light-hearted, but still hot and heavy, hardcore fucking on their sites.

With five hardcore sites currently on the Mofos Network roster, members have a decent range of themes and styles to choose from. College Bash presents you with VIP access to "the wildest college parties in America", where you can expect to see people fucking in almost every room, as well a number of drunken, debauched party games being played. Teens at Work features a situation familiar to us all: a gorgeous 18 or 19-year-old girl stuck working at her boring day job as a waitress, retail assistant, or receptionist. After a little coercion, these girls are usually glad to have a little respite from their dull workday, and let their fuck flag fly. The Mofos tour page makes a number of lofty promises, including three updates every day, 100% exclusivity, and one new site every month. There's only way to find out whether or not these are all true, and that's for me to log in and tell you guys all about what I find inside.

The Mofos main members' area looks almost exactly like another major porn network that I've reviewed in the past. At first, I was a little suspicious, but then I noticed a thin banner at the very top of the page that read "brought to you by the makers of Brazzers." If the content at Brazzers is anything to go by, we can expect the following from Mofos: silicone-enhanced tits, absurd scenarios, flat yet pleasant lighting, and some of the most popular pornstars on the Internet. It's obvious that the webmasters have put a lot of effort into the navigation system for their new network, as there is not only a menu bar with links to lists of all pornstars, sites, and scenes on the network, but there's also a vertical menu on the left side of the page that allows you to view the scenes and models sorted by rating, date, number of views, and (for the performers) number of scenes. There are also links to the Mofos forums, your account details, and, of course, Brazzers. The rest of the front page is filled with preview pics and links to recently uploaded and staff recommended scenes. Everything's looking pretty hot at this point, but I wonder how the network will stand up when it comes to the actual content.

Clicking on the Girls button in the main menu takes you to the model index, where you'll find such notable names as Audrey Bitoni, Jenna Haze, Lisa Ann (of Nailin' Palin fame), and my favorite newcomer, London Keyes. Ms. Keyes might have only appeared in about a dozen scenes, but she's already gaining a great reputation thanks to her cute face and smoking hot body, not to mention her enthusiasm for dick and pussy. London's one of those girls that recognizes the value of having just a little bit of weight to throw around. She's got a great ass, a few tattoos, and ample bosoms that are decorated with two identical nipple piercings. She's so new to the scene, in fact, that her Mofos profile page doesn't yet feature a biography. You will, however, find all her Mofos scenes linked underneath her rating and rank. As she's in her very early 20s, it's no surprise that two of London's three scenes appear on the College Bash site, and the other on Teens at Work. Her Teens at Work scene presents some fairly traditional hardcore action with a reasonably original setup: London is working at a candy shop when she seizes the opportunity to seduce a handsome customer. You've got to hand it the Mofos; their premises may be pretty absurd, but at least they go to the trouble of having a story and building a set. The College Bash scenes, of course, don't require sets or scripts, as they're shot at house parties full of drunken lunacy, which should be enough entertainment for anyone.

Each Mofos scene serves up both video and still image content, with videos coming to you in streaming and downloadable forms. You can download each scene in full or in chapters, choosing from WMV, MPG, MP4 and portable MP4 formats. The WMV offers the highest quality but, at 640x480 resolution, there's still tons of room for improvement. With most new networks making a point of offering true High Definition videos, the Mofos have no excuse to not match the quality provided by their competition. Thankfully, the streaming videos load quite quickly and look great, although there were a couple that stalled about halfway through, which was disappointing. Hopefully that little kink will get worked out soon.

Image fans will be pleased to find galleries containing both video screencaps and digital photos for all Mofos scenes. Both galleries can be downloaded in full via the handy zip archives. Most of the galleries are astonishingly large, with up to 800 photos or screencaps. As I previously mentioned, the lighting is typically quite flat with very few shadows or dark areas; instead of looking consistently dull and lifeless, though, this usually gives the viewer great visual access to every part of the scene. Sure, it'd be nice to see the performers pop out of the background courtesy of some more exciting lighting setups, but you really can't complain too much. After all, with women this hot, you'll want to make sure you're seeing every inch of their luscious bodies. After checking out scenes and galleries, you can leave comments on the premise, performance, or whatever the hell you feel is worth commenting on. You can also read what other people think, although their command of the English language is usually far below par.

The Bonus Content page links you to three additional streaming video feed networks that are included in your Mofos membership price of $24.95 per month. (There's also a trial membership option that costs $1 per day). Platinum DVD Network brings you over 4000 DVD titles from some of porn's most notorious studios, Reality Network offers ten exclusive paysites that cover a variety of hardcore niches, and Exclusive Network also does pretty much the exact same thing. Not bad, really, especially for under $25. Mr. Pink's, however, doesn't charge you a cent and delivers only the finest in Internet pornography reviewing and criticism, more of which you can find below.

Pros:
- There are some incredibly hot pornstars in most Mofos scenes.

- Updates come three times a day!

- The absurd premises for the scenes are always good for a laugh.

- The sex is typically Brazzers-style, with lots of moaning and groaning and dirty talk.

Cons:
- Video really should be High Definition, not the same quality that Brazzers have been using for years.

- If you're not fond of women with surgically enhanced bodies, you won't find many of the models attractive.

- The archive of original content isn't as large as I'd like. Hopefully that'll be fixed soon.

- Some people don't like the over-the-top Brazzers way of making porn.

Conclusion:
As an offshoot of the extremely popular Brazzers network, Mofos has a lot to live up to. While it's starting out fairly well, with some thoroughly enjoyable scenes and some great performers, there's definitely room for improvement on both technical and artistic levels. Updates are coming very frequently, so it shouldn't be too long before the archive has filled out a bit. Still, it'd be nice to see more from naturally gorgeous girls such as London Keyes and Lexi Belle, instead of so many artificially enhanced babes. I've got my fingers crossed for Mofos, hoping they turn out to be more mofos than motherfuckers.
