Overview:
Zero Tolerance isn't just the website's attitude towards ugly bitches and guys with tiny dicks - it's also the name of the studio from which all the site's content is drawn. With their slogan of "Zero Tolerance for bad porn", you can rest assured that this is one studio that doesn't take their job lightly. They describe themselves and their work thusly: "Zero Tolerance is the leading porn studio for hardcore fans everywhere. We are the first studio to produce Full HD adult films, the first to offer a true Internet membership website where fans can view or download all of their favorite porn movies online and the exclusive home of the best adult movies ever filmed!" Ok, so the opinion they have of themselves might be as high as Penny Flame, but let's give them the benefit of the doubt (and the burden of proof) for the time being. After all, the tour page certainly is impressive. You'll find that you're able to access most of the site without logging in, although your viewing will be limited to trailers and preview pictures only. Still, these give you a great idea of what a paid membership brings - lots and lots of superhot pornstars in lots and lots of hardcore fuck flicks that come to you in DVD and split scene forms. The site is very nicely designed and looks like it might have only recently been overhauled with new navigation features and a clearer, more dynamic layout.

Once you've logged yourself into the main members' area of ZTOD, you'll be hit with quite a lot of information for a first time visitor to digest. There's a navigation menu near the top of the page that gives you instant access to the DVD archive (including High Definition DVDs), a complete list of scenes, picture galleries, and pornstars. Hovering your mouse over each of these menu buttons will reveal even more options that refine your searching and browsing so as not to waste your obviously precious time. You can enter a title or pornstar name into the search field and get some solid results or check out the updates display for the newest DVDs, scenes, and galleries. The most popular pornstars, scenes, and DVDs are also listed for those of you with substantial faith in the erotic inclinations of your fellow wankers. There's even a small display that lists the Best Rated, Most Viewed, and Most Active (i.e. most prolific) Pornstars. While the Pornstar index page is undoubtedly a solid avenue of inquiry, what with its portrait images and links to both DVD and scenes featuring each performer, I'm going to take a shortcut and click on the two leading ladies of ZTOD - numbers one and two respectively in the Best Rated and Most Viewed Pornstars lists, Jenna Haze and Courtney Cummz.

Jenna and Courtney's profile pages prove that neither is a newcomer to the industry. Veterans of seven years in the biz, both women appear in a combined total of 106 scenes on ZTOD, with more to come, I'm sure. Their profile pages don't offer a lot in the way of personal or biographical information, but they do link to each and every scene currently in the archives that features each of these luscious ladies. You're given the names of other performers, as well as the runtime and popularity (number of times downloaded) for each video. You can also opt to view the content by DVD or picture gallery, should those be your favored styles.

Videos have been made available in a great range of format and resolution options, both in streaming and downloadable modes. Streams come to you in MP4, WMV, high and low res Flash, and iPod/iPhone formats; you'll find that the hi-res Flash video will start playing as soon as you land on the scene's page. All of these streams look very nice, and it's definitely worth considering only using the streaming content and ignoring downloads altogether (assuming you're not a die-hard HD fan). Speaking of downloads, you can save scenes in the following formats: Xvid AVI, WMV, iPod/iPhone, and 1080p, 720p, and 360p MP4 videos that have been labeled HD. The highest resolution you'll find here hits an extremely impressive 1920x1080 pixels (that's what 1080p means) and looks absolutely amazing. If you've ever wished for an extreme close up on Bree Olsen's adorable cum-covered face, now's your chance. The detail is astonishing and, dare I say, porn has rarely, if ever, looked this good. The file sizes tend to be on the large side, though, which is one of the main reasons to consider sticking with streams. Hey, they might not be superduperridiculouslyhighresolution but they're definitely good enough for most guys.

The photo content isn't really a focus here, but it's nice to see it included for those members who do demand quality pictures. Each gallery contains an average of about 150 shots, most of which hit resolutions of around 600x900 pixels. The quality of the photography is very, very good, but the resolutions could stand to be increased, even just a little, so as to more appropriately sit alongside the fantastic looking videos. You can't download full galleries as zip archives but there is a slideshow function to take the burden off your browsing hand for a while.

The DVDs and the scenes they deliver are generally of a very high quality, with gorgeous pornstars going all out on whatever big dick (or wet pussy, stiff dildo, et al) happens to approach them at any given moment. This is world class stuff, folks, and unless you're only into amateur porn starring "real" women, you will not be disappointed. One of the cooler things I found on ZTOD were a few "Interactive Sex With..." titles. Jenna Haze and Courtney Cummz each have one, as does Bree Olsen. While the functionality might not be the same as it is with a physical DVD - you can't click your remote and change position - the videos are still incredibly hot POV style scenes that do a solid job of putting you right in the thick of things. Great stuff all around!

You'd think that $29.95 a month would be a reasonable price for a site such as ZTOD, but then they go and throw a couple of bones your way to make it even more worthwhile. Black Ice Pass and Third Movies (the home of 3rd Degree Adult Films) are available to all members as bonus sites and offer content that's similar to ZTOD in theme, quantity, and quality. If you're still a little wary of handing over $30 every month, why not take advantage of the two-day trial membership option for just $3.95? Pros:
- ZTOD only features content produced by Zero Tolerance, which means every video and photo has been stamped with their seal of approval.

- Both navigation and site design are excellent. ZTOD is an attractive website that's easy to use.

- HD videos have rarely looked better. The 1080p selections give an incredible amount of detail that kicks your viewing experience into overdrive.

- Zero Tolerance have hired some of the most fucktastic chicks on the planet, including Eva Angelina, Puma Swede, Rebecca Linares, and Sandra Roman, as well as their flagship girls Jenna Haze and Courtney Cummz.

- Bonus access to Black Ice Pass and Third Movies is a great incentive to join.

Cons:
- A new DVD is added once a week but it could definitely stand to be twice a week.

- Photos, while looking very good, don't match the quality seen in the videos. Zip downloads would also be a great addition.

- Thirty bucks is thirty bucks. Know what I'm sayin'? The trial offers full access which is a positive. Give the site a trial run before dropping the $30.

Conclusion:
Man, those guys over at Zero Tolerance really know how to make me happy. Bree Olsen, Sasha Grey, Eva Angelina, Jenna Haze, Lisa Ann...the superstar porn girls just keep on coming. Not only that, but the DVDs almost always feature fucking that is, well, pretty fucking great. Just check out the "Interactive Sex With..." series, if you don't believe me. Every website has its downsides, however few, and ZTOD is no exception. The photo content needs a bit of work, as does the update schedule, but aside from those few niggling issues, there's little reason to decry Zero Tolerance's major online effort. Wicked!
