Overview:
Webcams (the website) seems to offer the same service as almost every other cam site on the Internet: a bunch of super to not-so-attractive women chatting live via webcam. It’s unfortunate that nobody seems to have figured out a way to update the webcam website M.O., as there’s definitely a great market for a site that does more than just point you to the girls. This site features “hundreds of sexy live online models for you to see live”, archived picture galleries, and unlimited free live chatting. Membership is free, although you need to provide a credit card, and allows you to view the site as much as you want, even granting you access to all standard video chats. While you won’t be seeing anything too explicit in these chats, viewing the performers in a sedately sexy state at least ensures you won’t be wasting money on women you don’t find worthwhile. You can hang out, talk to them, talk to your fellow members, and gawk at semi-nude or scantily-clad babes ‘til your heart’s content. Visitors get to check out the preview images of all cam babes, but they’ll need to sign up and log in to sample the videos.

Once logged in, you’ll find that very little has changed from the visitors area. The web design is the same inside as out, but now members can start to really investigate the different cam shows that are available here at Webcams. A menu at the top of the page points you to Archives, Movie and Photo galleries, a list of All Models, and a Who’s Online feature that, well, tells you who is currently on their cam. Who’s Online can be further separated into categories – Asians, Big Ass, Big Tits, Blondes, Brunettes, European Girls, Girls Online, Latinas, Teens (18+), and Tranny. Clicking on one of these categories shows you only the currently broadcasting cams that include the kind of girl or content you desire; not a bad way to narrow down your lengthy searching process. For each live cam, you’re given a preview image of the performer (or their body), their username, an out-of-ten rating as determined by your fellow members, and links to both their Free Chat and XXX Chat shows. (I’m using “their” instead of “her” because there are quite a few male cam performers on the site, too.)

After perusing the assortment of available cam shows and deciding which one you want to check out, you’ll need to click on the image to enter the Free Chat. Here, you can watch the performer pose in front of their webcam - sometimes almost nude, sometimes in a skimpy outfit that leaves their hands free for typing. Other members will most likely be enjoying this Free Chat, and you might also encounter fellow revelers in the XX Chats. While the presence of these other viewers makes it impossible to feel like you’re enjoying one-on-one time with the models, it’s still quite a lot of fun to watch them follow your comrades’ suggestions. Private shows are usually available but cost a little bit extra. Webcams (the site) prides itself on only using performers that will do anything that is asked of them and, if my experiences are any indication, they seemed to have pulled it off. Whenever I’m reviewing a webcam site, I always make sure to ask the models to do something really outrageous to make sure I can gauge how cooperative they are. Those that I encountered on this site were very accommodating and willing to do almost anything that was asked of them. Shoving dildos down their throats, slapping their clits, giving you tight close-ups of their moistened pussies, and even attempting to fist themselves on my cue, the Webcam girls all did a pretty damn good job.

Video quality, like on all cam sites, leaves a bit to be desired. Surely we’re not that far from watching High Definition video streams via an adult webcam site. After all, you can now stream HD movies online without too much trouble. Videos hit a resolution of about 320x240 pixels. The archived photos and screencaps only make it to 640x480 or thereabouts. The archives are split into the same categories as the Who’s Online list - Asians, Big Ass, Big Tits, Blondes, Brunettes, European Girls, Girls Online, Latinas, Teens (18+), and Tranny – and usually feature a pretty disappointing array of stills that really only serve to get your more amped up about watching a live session. The archived videos aren’t as disappointing and can often be as fulfilling as watching a live show, as they’re much more condensed and basically function as a highlight reel.

One thing you’ll never have to worry about when reading a Mr. Pink’s review is that things are going to get old. We always do our best to keep the commentary insightful, useful, and most of all enjoyable. Pros:
 - With thousands and thousands of webcam performers, and hundreds online at any given time, there are plenty of different girls (and guys and couples) for you to enjoy.

- Non-XXX chats are available to all members, not just those with ample credits.

- If you feel like losing some of your anonymity, you can have a reciprocal webcam chat with a performer.

- The archived content is occasionally pretty enjoyable.

Cons:
- The web design and navigation system of Webcams is pretty dull and lifeless.

- Credits always seem to run out pretty quickly, and you’re likely to end up spending more than you’d budgeted.

- The audio part of the cam shows (when present) is never good quality; it’s difficult to understand the models when they choose to speak.

- At almost $1 per credit and 2.99 credits per minute, it gets quite expensive.

Conclusion:
Webcams dot com might not have the ‘net’s most imaginative website name, but it is a pretty solid site all the same. Cam sites always end up being expensive, though, and this one is no different. Be prepared to shell out some big bucks if you’re enjoying the shows, as they cost around $2.99 per minute to enjoy. The performers are very willing and accommodating, however, making the shows extra enjoyable and well worth checking out. Hopefully the future will find Webams updating to HD streaming and decent audio capabilities, which would really make the per-credit price worthwhile. Until then, I suggest signing up for a free membership and engaging in as many Free Chats as possible, saving your credits for that special lady hiding somewhere in the annals of Webcams dot com. That way, even if you don’t find her, you won’t be too heavily out-of-pocket.
