Overview:
America’s home to some tyrants, for sure, but no kings – we’ve got a little thing called democracy here, and it works pretty damn well for us (cough). The only kings you’ll find in this part of the world are self-titled ones – guys who think that the word “king” implies class, wealth and influence. In the world of professional hockey, there are the L.A. Kings; in the world of big screen TV sales, there’s Paul, “the King of Big Screen”; in the world of union made American apparel, there’s King Louie America. Hell, even the online porn world has its own royal family, the Reality Kings. The webmasters of BBW Video King must think there’s room for one more group of royalty in the porn game, though, and they’ve titled their site accordingly. They’ve got big plans for their fledgling monarchy, too, as their site’s main page proudly proclaims that there will be “4 new videos added every week!” If you’re a BBW fan, the only thing better than a quickly growing website is a quickly growing waist – reading BBW Video King’s hopeful words, then, surely must have got you excited. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but I’m afraid all your excitement is for naught. A quick glance at the update list in the tour area reveals that BBW Video King doesn’t add four new videos every week – in fact, it hasn’t added any videos since March 25th of 2009. Dang – that’s five months! I wonder if the member’s area will continue this downward spiral?

The main members page is an exact duplicate of the tour page, the only difference being that, once logged in, the links on said page become clickable. The top of the page contains a thoughtful note from the webmasters, informing new members that ““BBW Video King is a brand new site that features hardcore BBW videos! We will be adding at least [1] new DVD title (3 - 5 scenes) each and every week, so the site will be growing fast.” This promise, however, has already been rendered null and void by the harsh reality of five months without updates. On the left hand side of this page, you’ll find your main navigation center. From here, you can search the site’s archives by category (examples: Asian, big ass, chubby, obese), studio or keyword. Below the search field lies a standard list of DVD site links: Home, DVD Updates (a chronological directory of the site’s DVDs, represented via the DVDs’ covers), All Scenes (a chronological list of the site’s scenes, accompanied by short descriptions and screencaps), Most Popular DVDs, Most Popular Scenes, Live Cams (a page full of thumbnails and links to a third party cam site’s BBW performers), Contact Us and Support. Categories are listed after these options as well, if you just feel like browsing BBW Video King’s wares.

Clicking DVD Updates takes you to a list of – imagine that! – DVD updates; all 32 of ‘em. Now, I’m sorry, but 32 DVDs does not a porn kingdom make. Let’s look on the bright side, though…hey, maybe each DVD has, like, fifty scenes in it! (Read on, true believers, to see if this is actually the case.) Each individual DVD’s page contains a few key facts about the flick, including its duration, how many times it has been downloaded, its studio, cast (if available), star rating and description. Cast names are clickable, but rarely lead where you expect – nine times out of ten, clicking a gal’s name will generate an error message. Bummer!

Individual scenes can be checked out through their main DVD pages or by hitting up the All Scenes list. BBW Video King currently holds 158 scenes, most of which run 20-30 minutes in length. Each scene is accompanied by a short description and a smattering of screencaps, which act to give you an idea of what the fatties (and fans of fatties) get up to in the videos. All varieties of sexual expression are covered here, from lesbian and interracial fuckin’ to anal and mature action. While there may not necessarily be a shitload of content on deck (and nothing to indicate any more being added in the foreseeable future), there’s at least quite a bit of variety here.

DVDs can’t be streamed or downloaded in their entirety; only scenes can. Each scene gives you three options for viewing: a “Hi” and “Low” download, and a streaming Flash version. The Hi download is a 640x480 WMV, while the Low is a 480x360 MPG – a world of difference doesn’t exactly separate the two. Downloaded videos look acceptable, but really only resemble slightly higher resolution Flash videos. The picture can, on occasion, seem a bit pixilated and the colors washed out – I’m not sure, however, how much of this has to do with low resolutions and how much has to do with the low production quality that characterizes the majority of these vids. Both recent and “classic” (read: old) material is represented here, though the latter is regrettably more common than the former. As far as the action goes, I’d say it’s pretty decent – I’ve always maintained that big girls know how to expertly milk a cock, and they certainly do it in a whole slew of these flicks. It’s just a shame that the crummy picture quality and production values of these vids prevent me from fully enjoying the fruits of their labor.

The only pics you’ll find on the site are the tiny preview screencaps – this is BBW Video King, guys, not BBW Photo King. That being the case, there are no photo galleries or zip downloads of any kind. While it would be a great bonus to see some photo content online here, it’s not exactly expected. I can’t imagine it would inconvenience the webmasters too much, though, to include a downloadable gallery of screencaps with every scene. Considering there haven’t been any updates in months, it’s not like they’re overly busy getting new content ready.

Just how much will this ton of fun set you back, you ask? $29.90 will net you a 30-day pass, $69.90 a 90-day one, and $99.90 a 180-day one. Gawsh! That’s mighty steep! Your membership includes no bonuses of any kind, though I’m sure you could have told me that at this point. Think you know it all, smart guy? Well, then, what am I gonna say in the Pros and Cons section? Huh? That’s what I thought – turns out you still need me after all.

Pros:
- There’s a great deal of variety to be found here – chances are, the action you’re looking for is somewhere within BBW Video King’s flabby folds.

- The action itself can get quite steamy, as BBWs are notoriously hot-blooded creatures.

- Videos download rather fast, meaning you won’t have to wait too long before spankin’ it.

Cons:
- Video resolutions and production values leave much to be desired.

- There’s no model index, and the model search feature currently in use is all bugged out.

- A video site with 32 DVDs in its archives really isn’t breaking any content records.

- The site hasn’t been updated in five months. ‘Nuff said!

Conclusion:
I know that big girls need love, too, but I just can’t love BBW Video King. Sure, there are some cute, enthusiastic BBW sexual dynamos on this site, but any enthusiasm I have for these chicks is overwhelmed by the anger I possess for their site’s webmasters. Crummy video resolutions, a shitty search engine and five months without updates makes BBW Video King one ruler who’s begging to be dethroned.
