Overview:

The members’ area of Ero Berlin looks almost identical to the tour pages. The only difference is that you’ll no longer be saddled with the inability to dig through the content, enjoying it to the fullest. A large banner invites you to have a “Happy New Year 2010” and is appropriately enough accompanied by a statuesque blonde flashing a nipple from beneath a leather and leopard-print parka. The latest video updates are displayed below and the promised weekly update schedule seems to be adhered to perfectly. Each new update is shown as a preview image, title, the performer’s name, and runtime. Occasionally, as in the case ‘Green Energy in Danmark’, the flag of the country that spawned the scene will also be shown. A showcase of the newest Ero Berlin models follows with 16 gorgeous Eurobabes flashing their smiles (and other assorted physical attributes) in an attempt to win your attention and approval. There is a menu system located at the top of the page but it doesn’t really take you anywhere these displays can’t – and besides, the models are much prettier!

Instead of opening in a new window or on a new page like most sites, Ero Berlin’s photo galleries open in a small sub-window that really doesn’t give you a lot of room to move around. Scrolling is not only possible but essential to viewing these galleries, as the sub-window only shows a dozen thumbnails at any given time. After selecting the most enticing of the roughly 130 photos, it too will open up in this sub-window as a preview. A small “full-screen” button will open yet another new window, this time showing the image at its full resolution of 1080x1622. The images look very good, which isn’t exactly surprising. Colors and clarity are both strong, flattering the already beautiful models and giving you a cheaper alternative to traveling to sub-zero Greenland just to get a glimpse of freshly fallen snow and an accompanying snow bunny. The locations often make the galleries much more interesting than they otherwise would have been. Aside from snow, you’ll see highways, wheat fields, rocky beaches, the forest, and even bustling metropolises – or whatever the hell the plural of ‘metropolis’ is. Zip downloads are available should you feel like saving the whole shebang in one hit and they transfer pretty swiftly on Ero Berlin’s fast servers. 

As for the video portion of the site, well, that’s no slouch either. After clicking the Download Video Files button, a sub-window once again opens up and gives you the following format options: WMV 1280 HD, WMV 640 LO, and iPod. At 1280x720 pixels, the HD WMV is by far your best chance at viewing heaven incarnate, as it looks stunning even on a small screen. While it’s nice to have the other two formats online and a number of members will undoubtedly use them, the HD WMV is really the star of the show here. Streaming the videos is also an option and, surprise, a new sub-window will open up and begin broadcasting the Flash stream after a swift click from the ol’ mousey mouse indicates you’re ready to roll. This sub-window can be resized as you would a normal Mac or Windows window – to paraphrase Pantera; you just “drag the corners some more”. Scenes are generally quite short – around ten or twelve minutes – and as such there’s no need for chaptered clips. Quality is again very good, but not up to par with the downloads. Still, it’s a hoot to watch these luscious ladies wander around in the nude, pose for the audience (that’s you, dude) and generally look lithe, limber and drop-dead sexy. If you’re instead still leaning towards renting a Angelopolous or Tarksovsky movie, it’d be worth your while to take a gander at these positive and negative observations that I’ve drafted carefully for you. After all, you’ll be watching paint dry anyway. You might as well save on the DVD rental fees and do it for free – and maybe even pop a woody, too!

Pros:
- You’d think that being a site that uses mostly exterior locations, Ero Berlin would be pretty tame. Au contraire, mon ami! Quite a few scenes involve masturbation and even some toy play! 

- Great site design makes for compact browsing and easy use.

- The HD videos are glorious and present the models in the most attractive light possible.

- Downloads all seemed to transfer pretty quickly. Ero Berlin must have nabbed some quality servers.

Cons:
- If you’re picky about the kind of erotica you enjoy, you might find it a bit frustrating that there are no content categorizations.

- Planning on viewing the galleries manually? Boy, it can be a tedious process thanks to all the sub-windows and unnecessary clicking.

Conclusion:
While not really having all that much to do with the city whose name it bears, Ero Berlin does deliver almost 150 galleries and videos that show just how gorgeous Europe can be. The archive may not be bursting with content, but the consistent weekly updates mean you’ll know exactly how much is coming to you and when. Ero Berlin, I’m pleased to say, is a young Euro erotica site that has a lot of promise. Considering the low sign-up cost, there’s not really any major reason to pass over this site in favor of something more expensive. Give it a shot; or, like the novelty t-shirt says, “Czech it out!”
