Overview:
Porn is escapism, pure and simple. I don’t think any reasonably intelligent porn viewer ever thinks that a randomly selected girl at a bus stop would willingly climb into a van with three meatheads and allow them to give her “a quick ride – huh huh huhuh”. Very few women will even let you tie them down with leather straps and let your friends go to work on every one of their orifices, so there’s no way anyone but the dumbest, sluttiest chick is ambling inside a decrepit Econolinefor a measly $50. It’s absurd to think that “reality porn” bares any resemblance whatsoever to most viewers’ realities. Face it - as much as you’d like to think otherwise, you’re not about to bump into some cougar, impress her with your incredible masculinity, take her home and respond witha resounding “You know it, bitch,” when she offers you her anal passage. That simply will not happen. It’s not reality. It’s all fantasy and it’s time you faced facts and admitted it to yourself. Nothing you see in porn will ever, ever happen to you unless it’s something lame like a semi-attractive girl telling you not to cum in her hair. So…reality porn…pornsumers are going to keep shoveling it down their own proverbial throats because it’s slightly more realistic than Vaseline-lensed “erotica” from Europe. At least some reality porn shoots aren’t lit in the most flattering way and you occasionally get to see some kind of blooper left in the scene. You know, like a sneeze or a queef or something…If you’re going to make “reality porn”, then at least make it good.

That’s where the Reality Kings come in. They’ve been the reigning monarchs of online reality porn since, well, a long time. The Kings have also recently overhauled their network, adding a few new features, throwing up a couple of extra sites - that kind of thing. The tour page looks better than ever, with a fresh design injecting new life into an old online porn staple. There’s also a large graphic touting “FULL DIGITAL HD” and welcoming you to “the next level”, whatever that means. I’verecently re-reviewed a few of the Reality Kings sites and none seemed to be hosting any videos withresolutions above 720x404 pixels, which, while technically High Definition, really isn’t the kind of quality a porn connoisseur has come to expect from that glorious HD logo. Now, onto the sites: there are 28 on the network, if you include It’s Real, a bonus site taken from the Muffianetwork. All your old favorites are still alive and kicking: MILF Hunter, 8th Street Latinas, We Live Together, Cum Fiesta, In The VIP, Round and Brown, and, my favorite, Big Naturals, as well as a bunch of others.

Once inside the members’ area, you’ll find a pretty packed central navigation page from which you’ll be doing all of your browsing. Network updates arrive twice a day most days of the week and you’ll see them all laid out in front of you here. Each update is represented by the model’s name, scene title, date of upload, the site that hosts said update, and a preview image that gives you a pretty decent idea of the action contained within. There’s a menu at the top of the page that directs you to Browse/Models, Sites, My RK Girls, Favorites, Live Cams, Get Laid, Specials, and Muffia. Most of these are fairly self-explanatory, but My RK Girls is sure to throw a few old members for a loop. My RK Girls is Reality Kings’ upstart social networking site. Through this feature you can befriend and communicate with some of the Reality Kings models (although there are only 16 currently using the site). From each of these models’ profiles, you can check out their RK scenes, Personal Photos, add them to you friends list, or leave them a message. Many of these girls also do live cam shows just for the fans on their friends lists. The Live Cams and Get Laid parts of the site are simply redirects to third-party websites, not anything that’s included for Reality Kings members.

With only one bonus site – It’s Real from the Muffia network, which is run by the RK crew – the main archiveofcontent is the main draw here. Luckily there are over 4800 scenes currently in the network. Withsuch a huge archive, you’re not going to run out of stuff to watch anytime soon. In fact, I’d be surprised if anyone ever managed to watch everything that Reality Kings haveproduced. Sure, they’re not all winners, but most of the content is very enjoyable, even though it’s not exactly the most original porn on the planet. Updates do arriveveryfrequently, so you can expect that archive to continue growing each and every day.

After taking your time and checking out the various updates from the various sites on the Reality Kings network, you’re gonna have to just man up and pick something, goddamnit. Once you decide on a scene to enjoy and click it, you’ll land on that scene’s viewing page. Here you can choose to view image galleries or videos, or, if you’re so inclined, click on any of the keyword tags to find something similar to beat off to. You can also click on the models’ names to find more scenes they’re involved in. If you’d prefer to check out the different sites individually, you’re able to do that as well (although I find it preferable to consider the network as one large and varied site). After looking around for a while and sampling all the different types of content available, the time will come to pop the RK cherry and indulge in your first scene. The first, and probably the most important, thing you’ll see on the scene page is an assortment of preview images. Although you can click any of these pics and view them fully enlarged, most of you will probably head straight for the videos. Download and streaming options are available for both partial and full scene videos. Those of you who prefer to stream will find the Flash to be sufficiently high quality enough for your taste and recent updates to the site feature higher quality streams compared to downloadable videos. You can choose between standard and HD streams on recently added videos with the HD option hitting 1280x720/3000 kbps. The HD streams look fantastic and, for Reality King's, this is another step in the right direction. Downloaders havethe option of saving WMV or MP4 videos for the newer scenes, both of which hit a maximum resolution of 720x404 pixels. Now, considering that anything higher than 640x480 is technically high definition, the promise of HD videos was kept. Personally, I’ve found that most porn viewers find 640x480 and 720x480 (or lower) to be basically the same size and a lackluster size at that. If Reality Kings really wants to impress with some great HD vids, we’ll need to see downloadable videos of at least 960x540 pixels become the new standard across the whole network. Otherwise the downloadable videos look very nice and there are no problems. Bam.

Image galleries are also on hand, should you want some static action that showcases the not insignificant good looks of the RK models. You want screencaps? You got ‘em. How about some photos? You got those, too, in both online galleries and downloadable zip archive form! The screencaps hit the same resolution as the videos (not surprisingly) and look all right, although they’re nothing to get too excited about. The photos reach 900x602 pixels, which is the same resolution they’ve been sitting at for a couple of years now. I must admit, when I heard that Reality Kings had overhauled their network, I was expecting, or at least hoping, to find higher resolution photos and videos. The fact that almost all of the content is in the same place it was last time we reviewed the network is a tad disappointing to say the least.

The Reality Kings style is a pretty easy one to describe. They are, after all, largely responsible for the ubiquitousness of “reality porn” on “teh internetz”. The scenes are usually shot a bit too brightly, although that’s just to ensure that everything is visible to the audience. The single-camera gonzo style of shooting is used in almost every scene and the camera is sometimes even handled by the guy who’s doing the fucking. By now, you should all know what “reality porn” entails: somewhat realistic situations resulting in vigorous sex with hot women. Tie that aesthetic to a bunch of different niches – big boobs, phat asses, MILFs, facials, exotic women, public indecency, barely legal girls, lesbian sex, and Latinas – and you’ve got Reality Kings.

A monthly membership to the entire Reality Kings network used to be reasonably priced at $24.95, but, thanks to Mr. Pink’s “connections” within “the industry”, we’ve managed to secure a discount for our dear readers. $17.95 is all you’ll have to hand over for a full month’s worth of RK access. Now that’s a pretty sweet deal, right? Before you rush off and fork over your cyberbucks, be sure to check out the Pros and Cons (and don’t forget the Scores. – ed) to make sure you’re not glossing over any faults or anything like that.

Pros:
- Reality Kings have fine tuned their network’s navigation system and spruced up the web design a bit. Looks good!

- There’s a wide range of content on here, from big tits and bountiful booties to 18-year-old nymphos and Latina goddesses.

- Most of today’s top online pornstars have made multiple stops here at Reality Kings central.

- The HD video streams are a welcome addition and look really impressive.

- Updates arrive on the network at least twice a day and, with a huge archive backing them up, you’ll never run out of stuff to watch.

Cons:
- Server speeds suffer dramatically when you’re downloading multiple files.

- With the recent network polish, you’d expect some downloadable HD videos and hi-res photos to be online. Nope, just the same resolutions as last time we stopped by.

- Older video content suffers from being shown in very poor resolutions and only in chaptered clips.

- A handful of sites suffer from sporadic and infrequent updates.

Conclusion:
What does it take to be considered the King of reality porn? A huge archive? Good looking videos? The most fucktastic models? Being pals with the MILF Hunter? If so, then Reality Kings can truly be called the reigning monarchs of all reality-based pornography. These guys and their network of 27 sites (plus one bonus site) have all these qualities and more. Unfortunately, I’m forced to deduct a few points from their scorecard due to their lack of dedication to High Definition downloadable videos. Sure, the downloadble videos that are online are technically HD, but they sure don’t look like it to the layman. I do have to give credit to the quality upgrade in the video streams which, when viewed with the HD option, look superb. Hopefully the next network-wide upgrade will focus on even higher photo and video resolutions instead of social networking drizzle. Even with a few flaws, I still believe that you will find this near-perfect network choc full o' boner inducing, nut-busting content.
