Overview:
All of the major movie studios are putting a hell of a lot of time, energy and resources into releasing movies on High Definition Blu-Ray DVDs; TV news broadcasts won't stop telling you how you're watching a minor story about an attempted robbery in High Definition; now the world of porn, too, has been thrown into the HD frenzy. Video sites left, right and center are touting their new content as being in glorious, eye-popping HD and some production companies have even set up sites specifically to host this supposedly gobsmacking video format. Score HD is one of them.

Score HD has only existed for a relatively short period of time, but they sure are putting a lot of effort into bring their members plenty of smoking hot HD fuck flicks. The few hundred scenes they've currently got online cover pretty much every female body-type known to man, from biggies to thinnies and everywhere in between. Other Score sites are very breast-centric, so expect a lot of megabusts on Score HD.

After logging in and coming to the main members' page, users will see the veritable treasure trove of pornographic entertainment that's on offer at Score HD. Updates are shown, complete with thumbnail pics, performer details and run times, 15 per page and 21 pages deep. This makes finding only the newest content pretty damn easy. Actually, navigation around Score HD is pretty straightforward all around (unlike the clusterfuck that is Score Videos), thanks largely to the simple left-side menu, search function and model index that allows you to browse not only by a performer's name but by body type and hair color as well.

The model index is very thorough and shows a bunch of useful additional info for each woman. Her vital statistics (including bra size, weight, height and location) sit side-by-side with a list of all her scenes currently available on Score HD. All of this is, of course, pretty standard stuff, but there are also listings of her appearances on other websites and even in magazines. These are shown as links, but you'll obviously need to sign up at these other places in order to view the content. As I mentioned earlier, women of all body types have a place at Score HD. Bigger babes such as Daphne Rosen, with her mammoth 34G tits, are shown alongside more petite girls like Lola Belle. In between those two extremes there are the slim but stacked women that I'm sure will get the most attention. After taking some time to peruse who and what is on offer, you'll have to make that always important choice of which scene to click on.

The video formats and sizes available are pretty good; better than a lot of other sites, that's for sure. Each scene can be downloaded in full or in chapters but not streamed. The two most common resolutions to be found on Score HD are 1280x720 and 854x480 pixels; both are WMV files. Both look pretty nice, especially the 1280 version (surprise, surprise) and should be good enough for most HD fans. Unfortunately there's one side effect of this clarity that I found a little disappointing: the image is so clear that you can easily spot the many imperfections a lot of the performers suffer from. Some have pretty bad acne, while others just look plain ugly in some positions. There are, however, a ton of total hotties, including the scrumptious Cassandra Calogera, to feast your HD-enabled ocular devices on if you get tired of the not so pleasant looking ones.

Not only are there videos to be had, there are also photo galleries that accompany each scene. Well, to be fair, they're not photos so much as screenshots lifted right from the frames of the videos. They can be viewed individually from the safe confines of your web browser or you can grab the whole shebang as a zipped archive in either high (1280x720) or low (640x360) resolution. It's a pity that these shots don't give us anything new and are therefore pretty expendable. It'd be really great if some real photography started appearing on the site, lending a more glamorous showing of the models not exactly prominent in the videos. Oh well.

The sex itself is pretty much your standard Gonzo-influenced hardcore material. Guy and girl or girl and girl talk, then strip, then suck, then fuck, then cum, then receive. The end. It sounds pretty dull on paper but when you're watching it other things come into play (like the rising boner in your pants) that convince you nothing is rotten in Denmark. And, really, nothing is exactly rotten; it could just use a little tweaking.

Signing up for a monthly membership at Score HD won't cost an arm, a leg or your immortal soul, but it will cost you $29.95. If you're as yet undecided about what to do - which isn't a bad thing considering what awaits you a few lines below - then why not stick around a few minutes more so I can shed or re-shed some light on the situation?

Pros:
- Updates are made daily, which means you'll find something new every time you log in.

- The videos look great, with high resolutions and cool options like flash trailers to help you decide which scenes to download.

- The web design and navigation system are both very nicely done with a streamlined, simple look for ease-of-use.

- Most of the content is guaranteed exclusive, so don't worry about finding duplicates of stuff you've already beaten off to 100 times.

Cons:
- The lack of streaming videos is sure to frustrate a number of members.

- Some of the women are, gotta put this delicately, not as "attractive" or "hot" or "good looking" as those on other, similar sites.

- While the content that's here is quite enjoyable, there aren't exactly mountains of it.

Conclusion:
Score HD aims high and hits, well, somewhere around the middle. Sure, the videos look really good and the website is solidly built and very easy to use, but it's impossible to ignore the fact that the standards of beauty are substantially lower than many other sites that offer a similar service. At almost 30 bucks a month, the membership price is probably a little high for what's on offer. Hopefully there'll be a ton of content added over the next couple of months, all starring some truly smoking babes. If that happens, I'll be back to score some HD without a doubt.
