Overview:
When a porn site is openly traded on the NASDAQ, you know they mean business. It comes as no surprise that Ten is such a site. Containing thousands of hardcore DVD titles, all available for download or stream, Ten hopes to compete with the reigning champs of hardcore DVD sites, but do they take home the belt?

Users checking out Ten for the first time will immediately notice the professional sheen given to the site thanks to it's admirable web design. Everything looks clear, and navigation is pretty easy thanks to a great search function. You can search by star, sexual act, physical attribute, video title, sex toy, clothing, setting and studio. All of these are somewhat hidden under the "advanced search" tab, but the categories that initially pop up are also quite good, consisting of the most popular search types, Asian, squirting, doggy style, monster cock, big tits etc. The results given by the search function are first-rate, all nailing your criteria. The only things missing are the ability to select multiple criteria from different categories, Missy Monroe squirting in the sunny outdoors, for example, and a pictorial model index. The only way to find your favorite performer is to check out the text listing of everyone, male and female, that currently have scenes online. This presumes you already know who you're looking for, but it's sometimes nice to simply check out the chicks and see who's going to do it for you right now.

Once you find a scene that tickles your boner bone, you'll discover the site's various viewing options on that scene's page. The performers names are listed, as is the runtime and a rating (out of 5 stars). You can also add scenes to your "Favorites", one of the great user functions provided. Videos can be streamed or downloaded, the latter only in WMV format but the former in both WMV and RealVideo (yeah, I thought RealVideo was obsolete, too).

Each viewing option has at least two, usually three, quality choices, including 220, 500, 1000 and 1500 kbps. Clicking one of these will open a new window that gives you the real download link - why they couldn't just cut out the middleman, I don't know. Ten used to have DRM restrictions in place for every downloadable file but they've seen the light and discarded DRM altogether. This is great news and makes the site infinitely more worthy of your money than it used to be. The 1500KB WMVs look pretty good with their 640x480 resolution, but are not, by any means, state of the art. Many competing video sites not only have much higher resolutions and bitrates but also provide a larger variety of formats and download options. Occasionally Ten will offer only 220 and 500KB videos, which is pretty disappointing. Fortunately Ten's wide variety of hardcore helps make up for it's (at times) less than stellar video quality. Everything you can imagine is featured in at least a couple of scenes. Monster cock sucking, titty fucking, squirting, facials, orgies, double penetrations, it's all here. Hell, I even saw a woman with an eye patch getting face-fucked. Not only is there a large assortment of content, but there's also quite an impressive selection of talent. These aren't screenshots, but professional looking photographs that show the models is a very flattering light. Each "scene" usually contains around 50 or 60 shots, and there's an average of seven or eight scenes per gallery. Finding your way around the image section can be a little frustrating since there's no search or model index, but if you're a big still image fan you'll enjoy the 1200x800 pixel resolution. No zip sets are provided and there are only two resolution options, the aforementioned 1200x800 and a 427x640 version.

The bonus videos are iPod compatible and made specifically for members who want to take some porn with them wherever they go. Conclusion:
Ten doesn't exactly thrill me beyond belief, but it does provide a pretty good service for it's membership fee. If you're not a stickler for High Definition videos and exclusivity, then Ten will be a pretty safe bet for you. Hopefully the webmasters can, in the near future, implement a quality upgrade and a slight redesign of the site, that'd make Ten a surefire hit with every hardcore video fan with a keyboard and a bottle of moisturizer. You simply can't go wrong with a free 3 day trial. Sure, you still have to input your CC info, but simply cancel any recurring charges before the 3 days is up and then your good to go.
