Overview:
Depending on where you grew up, the word 'jock' can mean quite different things. In the USA, a jock is someone who is most likely male, plays and is dedicated to sports. Elsewhere in the English speaking world (and in quaint old America of yore) 'jock' referred to a male's genital region, not necessarily the genitals themselves (although later became one colloquial usage) but to the nondescript settlement between a man's thighs; hence 'jockstrap'. Jacks Studios might as well be called Jocks & Jocks considering its apparent devotion to hunky athletic men and their dicks. Presenting prospective members with a ton of preview images that show guys in gym shorts, jockstraps, and sneakers stripping down and getting sweaty off the track, court, and field. This particular kind of exercise (or sexercise!) doesn't just keep them in tip-top shape - and, boy, are are in absolutely astonishing shape - and you, you lucky home viewers, have the chance to watch these hunks work their incredible physiques in superbly erotic fashion as they suck and fuck their way to Jocks Studios infamy! Hell, it'll cost you $29.95 a month to join, but from the looks of things it could be the best thirty bucks you'll spend all year. Onward to victory!

Pros:
The guys of Jocks Studios are hunky dudes whose fit bodies are put to great use in blistering hardcore scenes. Some big names are here - Alex Lynch, Buck Monroe, Roman Heart, and Matthew Rush to name a few - and many of them are even given the chance to introduce themselves a little more formally through video interviews (Meet the Men) that are a real treat to have online here.

Image quality might slip the further you go back into Jocks Studios' extensive archive, but many recent additions to the site are delivered in beautiful frames. Videos can be streamed 540, 480, and 240p resolutions and photos look great at 1280x1800 pixels.

Jocks Studios also presents its members with the chance to take all their favorite jocks and jock-fuckers on the road by providing a mobile version of this site for viewing on iPads, iPhones and similar portable devices the makers of which either have been or will soon be sued by Apple. Live Shows are also on the card and take place a few times each month.

With a whopping 689 scenes in the archives, covering everything from classic S&M-infused gangbangs of ten year vintage to brand-new boys getting plugged in HD, Jocks Studios packs a lot of value into its membership packages. Updates continue to arrive on a weekly schedule and keep the site growing. Those eager for some Jocks-style good times can now become members for a measly $14.95, which is half-price!

Cons:
None of Jocks Studios video content can be downloaded; this is a streaming-only site. Now, I love streaming video as much as the next guy - my Roku addiction is proof positive of that - but not allowing paying members to save their favorite videos is like charging entry to an ice-creamery and only offering samples. Fuck that.

While there is some HD content online here, the vast majority of the large streaming video archive peaks at 720x480 pixels and looks, I'm afraid, pretty fucking drab and lifeless. Since they no doubt own the original tapes, why not remaster the footage in glorious HD?

Even photo fans get kinda shafted here at Jocks Studios. No zipped galleries are provided for download forcing you to save every individual photo should you want to build your own little archive of choice shots.

Although the Meet the Men videos are a great addition to the site, nothing can take the place of a detailed model profile; none are to be found here. There's also not much info on the scenes themselves; actually, there's none at all, so you're left to watch everything you have even a passing interest in to find out whether it's really worthwhile.

Conclusion:
There might be a large collection of content here at Jocks Studios, but since none of it is downloadable and most of it looks pretty crappy, there's a good chance any of you who happen to sign up for membership will leave unimpressed and feeling somewhat ripped off. Yes, the guys are hunky and put in pretty great performances, but with your viewing so severely limited it's not likely to matter to many of you. The HD content does look quite good and most of the photos present themselves very nicely and there is a pretty damn huge archive here, but… Look, if you're ok with only ever being able to stream, not save, Jocks Studios content, by all means go ahead and join, but be sure to deselect the additional membership this company wants to slip by you but still charge you for. Downloadable videos aren't the be-all, end-all of an adult website but they sure go a long way to showing that the company you're giving your money to wants to give you something tangible in return. Whatever your attitude on that particular issue, Jocks Studios is nevertheless a solid site with some good, hard fuckin'.
