Overview:
Rosebud Nudes introduces itself as "An American Erotic Art Magazine" and offers a lithely posed nude woman as evidence of such. Aside from links inviting you to "Enter" or "Take the Tour" there's little else to give away what lies inside this evocatively named erotica site. Still refusing to give much away, Rosebud's tour pages offer a handful of sample photos and nothing else. It's a relief then that the photos are breathtaking shots of beautiful young models that, judging from their facial features, fashion sense, and body modifications, seem to be as American as hostile corporate takeovers and hedge fund scams. This comes as something of a surprise. After all, it's usually the nations of Central and Eastern Europe that are best represented in online erotica, not the good ol' (and decidedly more hardcore) US-of-A! Could these ladies be the start of a new wave of American softcore erotica or is Rosebud Nudes still suffering from underdevelopment and lack of direction? As the sworn sentinel of quality pornography, Mr. Pink investigates!

Pros:
Although they look somewhat similar to the young Eastern European and Russian women modeling usually found modeling on erotica sites, Rosebud Nudes is full of North American girls. Sporting names like Becky, Lucy, Antoinette, GiGi, and Crissy and gussied up in lingerie, fetish wear, and skimpy outfits galore, the girls are a treat.

I like puckered assholes and smeared mascara too, you guys, but that's not what Rosebud Nudes is about. Instead of carnality, we're here privy to fairly simple nude modeling, some bathing, a little light masturbation, and plenty of sultry eye contact, all of it presented well in exclusive photo galleries.

Photo galleries provide multiple viewing options and should suit most users. Hitting heights of 3072px but offered in two other, smaller sizes too, Rosebud's photos come in clear, dynamic, colorful frames and offer substantial detail in each shot. In fact, with multi-res images and a slideshow, it seems there's been only one notable omission… zips.

Costing $14.95 to access for one month and just $19.95 for a three-month pass, Rosebud Nudes is very, very affordable! It won't satisfy your every pornographic itch, that's for sure, but it is a cheap (or inexpensive anyway) thrill!

Cons:
Rosebud Nudes looks and functions like it was design in 1992 by an only slightly overachieving six-year-old. That is to say it looks crummy and acts just a crummy. Only two real menus are on hand, Models and All Galleries, and neither offer much information about the thumbnails they display.

Unfortunately, Rosebud's crew has neglected to offer zipped photo galleries, leaving all members desiring such to manually save each and every image on their own. Needless to say, this is extremely tedious and a long outdated concept.

Rosebud only produces photo content and is apparently so disinterested in shooting video that the site features not a single video clip in its collection. An entirely photographic site, Rosebud Nudes is sure to annoy those who've come to take HD videos for granted.

The galleries available here are often filled with very sexy women posing their already enticing bodies in even more enticing ways. They're also filled with very little sexual activity - a hint of masturbation is the most you can expect - which will no doubt leave many viewers wound up, not relieved.

Conclusion:
Rosebud Nudes doesn't seem to be an especially popular or successful erotica site, instead simply sticking to its guns and waiting for the audience to arrive. The problem with this M.O., though, is that by the time the audience does arrive, they're often interested in something far beyond what you (or in this case Rosebud) have to offer. Rosebud's sedate striptease and nude modeling galleries are enjoyable, very enjoyable actually, but they're unlikely to be anyone's complete porno diet. There's almost no sexual activity of any kind here, just nude modeling, and with no videos to show the allegedly American girls in full movement and voice, some vitality and intimacy has been lost here. I'm not saying Rosebud Nudes should leap into HD assfuck movies or anything, just that a few small changes and minor upgrades could have a somewhat forgettable site rising the must-see list sometime in the future.
