Pros:
The eight Burning Angel websites - Punk Porn, Joanna Angel, Cum On My Tattoo, Big Boobs Are Cool, Fuck Me in the Bathroom, Heavy Metal Pussy Party, POV Punx, and Punk School Girls - all offer something slightly different and present everything from POV-shot assfucking, ejaculation onto inked skin, behind-the-scenes footage of Joanna directing, nightclub and bar scenes turned blowjob-heavy orgies, hardcore lesbian fucking, and, of all things, a plaid-skirted young slut banging a guy in an alligator suit. Talk about alternative porn!

Most of you are probably reading this review because you've seen women like Misti Dawn, Joanna Angel, Sparky Sin Claire, and Tori Lux on a few other websites and found out that they got their start here at Burning Angel. Well, folks, there's a ton of models online here - almost 100 actually - and these decadent and delightfully sinful angels look fantastic on camera, their heavily inked skin, multiple body mods, flamboyant punk style, and exuberant sexualities shining through in every scene and gallery.

Man, talk about hot sex! Burning Angel's performers might not all be as well known as their hostess, Joanna, but I've yet to come across (or should I say "to") one that wasn't an electrifying performer willing to give each scene her all whether sucking dick, eating pussy, pleasuring herself, having her ass brutally pounded by James Deen, or enjoying the company of both men and women (and plenty of them) in one of Burning Angel's brilliant orgy scenes.

Burning Angel is a lot more than just a porn site, it's a thriving community of punks, goths, and everyday dudes and dudettes who love watching all different kinds of people fuck their brains out. The message boards, music reviews, blog posts, band interviews, and articles are a huge and unmissable part of the network.

Cons:
You're only able to view the photos of any Burning Angel site by using the networks built-in Flash-powered viewing system, which unfortunately doesn't show the images in their full 1080px resolutions. No zipped gallery downloads are available, meaning you'll essentially have to be online and logged-in every time you want to check out a gallery.

Update schedules for each of Burning Angel's sites are advertised as either daily or weekly yet they rarely stick to that plan. Most sites add a new video every two weeks or thereabouts and a new photo gallery a few times a week. Three of the sites haven't been updated in about two months, leaving fans to wonder what their future is.

A number of Burning Angel's sites seem somewhat interchangeable. When the models are generally covered in tattoos, most scenes become worthy of inclusion on Cum On My Tattoo and Heavy Metal Pussy Party isn't the only site that sees all-girl updates. The Burning Angel style has become so clearly defined that there's very little deviation from it these days, and therefore not as much variety as perhaps there should be.

A number of the scenes hosted on this network are lit quite poorly and don't make for particularly strong viewing experiences. Even more of a disappointment than this lighting issue and that older content generally looks quite dull and lifeless is the fact that no Burning Angel sites have yet made the leap to High Definition video formats, putting them a fair way behind much of the competition.

Conclusion:
It's always hard to criticize a site or network as enjoyable as Burning Angel. Largely responsible for the alt.porn wave that recently swept through every adult entertainment studio in America and across your computer screens in the shape of some of porn's most gorgeous and talented tattooed and pierced "alternative" girls, Burning Angel has long provided us with raucous sex scenes that are as enlightening as they are smoking hot; well, almost. The network's eight websites cover everything from bustacious babes and POV-shot anal scenes to nightclub bathroom sex and tattoo-based ejaculatory explosions. The women all seem eager to please themselves, their partners, their hostess (Joanna!), and, of course, the growing legion of Burning Angel fans, with whom you can interact on the extensive social networking features found all across Burning Angel. Of concern, though, are the rather lazy update schedules, the lack of High Definition video content, and the frustrating photo viewing experience. It's about time Burning Angel had a network-wide overhaul and upgrade; let's just hope it doesn't take another few years to happen as this network is too stellar to go uncared for.
