Eva Angelina XXX review

Overview:
One day a few years back, I was chowing down some nondescript burger at a Café 50s over near Venice Beach (California, not Italy) and I could’ve sworn the girl waiting on my then ladyfriend and I was none other than Eva Angelina. She immediately looked familiar, was wearing Eva’s signature glasses, and seemed to be the approximate dimensions of the notorious cum-guzzler herself (pre-boob-job). I forget what her nametag said, but it sure as shit wasn’t “Eva Angelina”. Now that I’m sitting here writing a review of Eva’s site (well, one of them anyway), I harkened back to this moment and decided to Wiki the lady in question. Jackpot. It says it right there in plain English: “She took a temporary break from porn between May and November 2004 to accommodate her then boyfriend's wishes, during which she returned to school and worked at Macaroni Grill in Valencia, California.” I’m convinced. In order to protect the wishes of management, he/she who submitted that information to Wikipedia probably changed Venice to Valencia and Café 50s to Macaroni Grill. It’s the only explanation. Again, I’m convinced. I met Eva Angelina. (What’s more, she was pleasant and I tipped her pretty well, if I recall correctly.)

Eva Angelina XXX’s tour page promises that it is Eva’s “one and only official site” and will bring you exclusive videos, pictures of her “everyday life”, full access to a blog and message board, photo galleries, and live shows. Members also receive bonus access to the rest of the Premium Pass Network, which hosts 20 sites in all, ranging from the aforementioned solo pornstar sites to I Need It Black, Sperm Swallowers, Her First MILF, and various other hardcore outings. 

Once logged into Eva Angelina XXX, you’ll find a Flash video greeting from Eva herself, proving once and for all that this site is about as official as they come. She claims she shoots “regularly” for this site and is “constantly updating it” with new material. (We’ll find out if that’s true in just a moment.) A large banner at the top promotes Eva’s upcoming hour-long live show, a survey asks what kind of content you’d most like to see, the latest movie updates are listed complete with preview pics, a display of the newest photo galleries, blog entries, a link to an online store and a calendar of Eva’s personal appearances, of which there are currently none. A menu bar sits at the top of the page and (not surprisingly) points you to Home, Videos, Photosets, Free Webcam Shows, Bonus Sites, Search/Browse, Blog, Store, Discount!, and Friends. Most of these links will be useful to you, the average member, with the exception of Friends and possibly Store. The additional parts of the site (Blog, Webcam et al) will be address shortly. For now, how about some fucking?

Right now Eva’s video archive holds 43 scenes, most of which have been pulled from her extensive catalog of non-exclusive appearances. Updates are unfortunately quite erratic, with downtime ranging from two or three days to six weeks. Hopefully things start to run a little more smoothly in the future. It’d be a real shame to see Eva’s site fall as low as some of the others on the Premium Pass network. (See the reviews of Sperm Swallowers and Jules Jordan for more details. Trust me, they’re not pretty.) Video selections are pretty standard for a Premium Pass site and include a handful of download options. You can download full-length MPG and WMV files, the latter hitting a resolution of 720x480 pixels and looking pretty good, if not exactly outstanding. Streams aren’t explicitly available, but clicking a video link often opens said video in your browser window, which, I guess, is technically a stream. Better than nothing, I guess, although I’ll still be marking “NO” next to “Streaming:” down in the Video Stats section. (Check it out. I’m a man of my word.)

Photo galleries are added with slightly more regularity but still seem to arrive in bursts. Leading up to Christmas, four new galleries were added over four consecutive days. Prior to that, things were much more spaced out. Most of the 36 galleries hold around 85 shots that reach a maximum resolution of 1024x768 pixels when viewed from the thumbnail display. There is usually a downloadable zip archive that promises resolutions of 1600x1200, which is obviously much better quality and far preferable. The quality of photography is generally very good and leans towards the glossy sheen of Hustler and Penthouse but with more of an edge – ironic since Eva Angelina is, like, all curves, dude! 

One important thing to note about both the video and photo content is that some of it is shared between a few of the solo pornstar sites on the network. The couple of Christmas themed scenes listed on Eva Angelina XXX, for example, show Alexis Texas’ banner and page design when you hit their viewing page. This is kind of a sleazy way to go about bumping your archive depth, webmasters. Me no likey! Not exclusive! Another thing that bugs me is the number of scenes that are mild solo masturbation sessions or the much worse behind-the-scenes-video-of-a-photo-shoot concept, which I find almost inexcusable on a site dedicated to one of the porn industry’s hottest cock-takers. If you’ve ever seen Eva Angelina accept a thick, creamy load in the face (and you should have, it’s not like she does much else), you’ll know just how incredible a performer she can be. On numerous occasions, she can be seen sitting back on her heels, tongue out, mouth open wide, begging for a hefty wad to be shot all over her gorgeous mug; the grin she sports post-ejaculation is priceless. If Eva isn’t a 100% guaranteed authentic cum-loving slut, I don’t know what is. So what’s the fucking deal with BTS videos from photo shoots?

Where bonuses are concerned, Eva Angelina XXX does pretty well. Aside from the 19 other Premium Pass sites you’ll be able to access at your leisure, there’s also the surprisingly entertaining Blog page. Eva might not be the most eloquent or well-read individual (and, by god, her taste in movies is atrocious) but she certainly does try to keep you up to date on her personal life. You’ll hear about her newfound love of hiking, her technological ignorance and incompetence, and how much she loves losing her baby weight and getting back into the fuck game. Where you’d normally have to hand over $29.95 a month for the privilege of all this Eva-access - nothing to sneeze at especially in today’s economy – Mr. Pink has graciously netted you a ten-dollar discount, bringing the final cost down to $19.95. Pros:
- It’s hard to go wrong with Eva Angelina. She is one of the world’s preeminent pornstars, after all. Nobody takes a load like Eva!

- Access to the entire Premium Pass network is a great additional incentive to sign up.

- Video quality is quite good, reaching 720x480 pixels.

- This site is the only place you’ll be able to find some of the newer scenes.

Cons:
- There are far too many “behind the scenes of photo shoot” and “check out Eva posing for photos at a convention”-style movies. We want to see Eva doing what she does best – fucking!

- Not all of the content is exclusive to this site. Some scenes are licensed from other producers and some are actually hosted by other Premium Pass sites.

- Eva started doing anal a few years ago yet there are no anal scenes on the site. And she’s so fucking great at it, too! 

- The archives aren’t exactly overflowing with content yet.

Conclusion:
As one of the most recognizable, highly regarded, roundly awarded pornstars of the present day, Eva Angelina has thousands upon thousands of men by the balls. She knows they’ll flock to her newest website, Eva Angelina XXX, and she knows exactly what they want to see: her getting fucked with wild abandon and loving every damn second of it. While there are some scenes hosted here that fit that description, there’s also far too many that lean towards softer, less exciting content. If you want to watch Eva get her photo taken for 30 minutes, that’s cool, but I’m willing to bet most guys came to see her fuck. Once the updates arrive with more regularity and feature more explicit hardcore fucking, Eva’s site can definitely be regarded quite highly.
