Overview:
Ever since the first 720p resolution High Definition adult movies first popped up online, the porn-loving world has been bat-shit obsessed with HD porn videos. Nowadays seriously high-res television and digital cinema is commonplace and the adult entertainment world hasn't lagged behind. Case in point: HDV Pass, a small network of eight websites holding a collection amounting to hundreds of hardcore movies. All the most popular stars of the US porn scene appear to be here, too, with Bonnie Rotten, Jessie Andrews, and Tori Black wrapping themselves around stiff 'n' sizable fellas in crystal clear streaming and downloadable videos. Now, HDV Pass might seem think a sure thing given its supposed size, star power, and visual vitality, but what happens if the content inside is dull as dishwater? What if the HD videos aren't even remotely impressive? What do we make of HDV Pass then? Is it worth the $29.95 monthly membership fee you'll need to pay before you can enter? That's what I, Mr. Pink, am here for: to fill you in on the whats and whyfores and whosits of HDV Pass, arguably the least family-friendly HD entertainment experience out there!

Pros:
HDV Pass is a network bringing together Fresh MILFs, Aire Rose, Latin Fixation, POV All Stars, Pussy Licked, Busty Network (also called Big Boobs & Huge Tits Porn Videos; yes, really), and the website of Mr. Seymore Butts, porn stud extraordinaire and legend of the adult screen. Across the network you'll find mature and teen hussies both doing their fucking best in POV, lesbian, boob-focused, and Latina hardcore scenes.

Perhaps Mr. Butts's name and reputation brought in the all-star performers found here, or perhaps it's all in a day's work for the likes of queen cocksucker Charley Chase, the Spanish Wonder Rebeca Linares, Mason Moore and her gallons of squirt, Coco Velvett's alt.ass, and Sunny Lane's unbelievably cute and bubbly personality.

True to its name, HDV Pass and its fellow network sites do offer High Definition videos in streaming and downloadable forms. Resolutions reach 720p and 1080p both, and look good in either streaming or downloaded forms. Photo galleries accompany these scenes and present strong images at or around 1000px in both online galleries and zipped downloads.

The combined HDV Pass network archive holds 550 scenes with most falling into the main, generic HDV Pass category. New content arrives quite frequently, which is great to see, with a new scene made live every three or four days.

Cons:
At first, it appeared HDV Pass had bungled the one part of its site it could not afford to bungle: the HD videos. Many were not streaming, cut off during downloading, or only streaming in standard definition resolutions. While a few videos are genuinely missing, these issues were largely the result of HDV Pass reorienting you to another of its sites if you so much as open, say, a Fresh MILFs link in a new tab while prepping a POV All Stars video.

Navigation issues abound at HDV Pass, where there's no model or keyword tags to link you to similar scenes, no consistency between the functionality of each website, many a missing thumbnail or banner, and a number of other relatively minor trip-ups. With these navigation problems and the above video issues, It's clear this network was assembled in a hurry.

Not everything found at HDV Pass is truly exclusive. Many scenes have been pulled from DreamZone releases while others could (and still can) be found on adult video megasites like Videobox. Some frame-cropping has also apparently occurred, removing the original watermarks in the process.

Much of HDV Pass's content is noticeably dated, some from only three or four years ago and some going back over a decade. Unfortunately, the older the scene, the less likely it'll look as good as newer productions. Most of these older scenes were not shot in HD and appear to have been up-converted when they are available in "HD" formats.

Conclusion:
Holding a fairly strong archive of HD videos, most of them viewable in solid 1080p resolutions, HDV Pass is reasonably well set-up and delivers many impressive hardcore scenes. Updates are flowing, but not as smoothly as one might hope. Still, the network is growing and its sites hold some very appealing hardcore romps with pornstar talent of the highest order. Navigation issues plague members, though, especially those who like to open a few browser tabs and switch between them to check out different scenes or galleries; doing so across multiple sites causes video download and streaming errors and can't leave webpages looking like a garbled mess. Without proper model/category/keyword tags to help you find the porn you're after, HDV Pass is left wanting for a more user-friendly interface. Some exclusivity and video quality issues aside (mostly from older content), HDV Pass offers plenty of quality mainstream porn, but fails to do it with anything resembling flair.
