Until his untimely death as a result of a heart attack, John Leslie Nuzzo, better known by his nom de porn John Leslie, was one of the adult industry’s most distinguished purveyors of explicit hardcore material. From his debut role in 1973’s Sensuous Delights to his eventual turn to directing, Leslie was awarded almost every conceivable adult industry honor and was inducted into the AVN, XRCO, and Legends of Erotica Halls of Fame. Having worked with most of porn’s top-tier female talent, from Seka to Naomi in her first anal scene, Leslie can claim to have lived a life more full than most of us dream. Upon his death, the adult industry seemed to collectively weep, something usually reserved for missing puppies, a lost cannabis stash, or Erica Campbell’s decision to rehabilitate farm animals - such was Leslie’s impact. Now seems like an appropriate time to dig back through Leslie’s career and enjoy what he brought to the art of hardcore pornography throughout his career and where better to do just that than at his self-titled website, which, as part of the Evil Angel network, has as solid a foundation as one could hope for.

Pros:
Naomi (Russell), who performed her first anal scene in Leslie’s Naomi: There is Only One, said “He is so great because he has the most wonderful mixture of perversion and sex and class and love and masculinity and art. You can't get a better combination. He exudes it and we feed off of it.” That’s definitely evident in his scenes.

Although Naomi unfortunately isn’t featured on this website, Jenna Haze, Kristina Rose, Alexis Texas, Madison Parker, Sasha Grey, Lexi Belle, Riley Evans, Asa Akira, Gracie Glam, London Keyes, Alexis Love, Isis Taylor, and Andi Anderson are. That’s an incredible array of talent, folks!

Videos arrive with streams labeled “HD”. While they might not be as High Definition as they claim, only reaching 960x540 pixels, they look very clear and strong and shouldn’t disappoint any viewers. Photos, too, look great and hit 1280x850 pixels.

Cons:
Although they are labeled as such, the “HD” videos streams technically are not. What’s more, there are no HD video downloads provided, an area that is becoming increasingly vital to the success of high profile porn sites. I’m not sure if Leslie even shot any HD movies before his departure from this mortal coil, but if he did it’d be great to see them here.

Photo galleries are poorly labeled and are not placed in the Pictures archive, but on the individual scene pages, making them difficult to locate. What’s more, most galleries contain less than 40 photos and seem a tad undernourished.

Contrary to statements made on John Leslie’s tour page, not everything hosted here is exclusive. Many scenes and DVD titles appear on the websites of such online porn distributors as Videobox and are not entirely exclusive.

Updates might arrive reasonably frequently, but they are not on a strict schedule, meaning you might be waiting one, two, ten days before something new lands on the homepage. There doesn’t seem to be any reason Leslie’s update schedule should lag; not if he had a decent amount of work in the can before he died, content that hasn’t yet made the site.

Conclusion:
John Leslie's legacy lives on at his self-titled website. Offering up a great selection of more than 250 scenes starring some of porn’s most notable cocksuckers and featuring everything from straight blowjob scenes to double-penetrations, anal gangbangs, and plenty of flying globs of ejaculate, John Leslie’s site is a testament to his brilliant career as a porno actor, director, and producer. While High Definition videos were promised, it’s a real shame that they haven’t really been offered in their true for; at least, they haven’t yet. The update schedule could use some ironing out, but considering Leslie’s current state of existence, the slip-shod nature of the updates shouldn’t come as a surprise. In the end, though, all we are left with when someone dies is the work they produced and the relationships they established, all of which can be viewed here at John Leslie dot com. A fitting tribute, to be sure.
