Having been born in New Delhi might not be much of an advantage to the 35% of Indians living below the poverty line, but for Priya Anjali Rai, it turned out to be a true blessing. Moving to the United States at the age of two and growing up in suburban Minneapolis, 18-year-old Priya started stripping and eventually moved out to California with aspirations of gracing the small screen.
