Odds are, if you're reside in the US of A, you're at least somewhat hooked on so-called "Reality TV." Shows like Survivor, The Real World, Celebrity Apprentice, The Amazing Race, Jersey Shore, and The Real Housewives of Orange County have taken over the now-digital airwaves and transformed both television and the real world, and the majority of folks don't seem to mind. In fact, they seem pretty thrilled about it! Does this trend, like most in pop culture, translate to the porn industry, too? You bet your sweet fanny it does! Take a look at the abundance of "reality" porn sites on the 'net these days, specifically Reality Junkies, the site under examination in this here review. Boasting such reality-based DVD series as Big Breast Nurses, Cougar's Prey, Babysitter Diaries, Couples Seeking Teens, and Mom's Cuckold, Reality Junkies seems to believe that we're all massively debauched sexual degenerates who just now how to hide it. How else could this company get away with suggesting nurses who let their bed-ridden patients penetrate their assholes and babysitters who accept payment in cash or cock (or both) are more realistic than the absurdities you see in other porn movies? Whatever the case is in real life, you can guarantee that these reality-based roleplays are going to be highly arousing and profoundly enjoyable. They do, after all, feature many of porn's greatest contemporary performers. A payment of $29.95 will get you in the door and have you staring face-to-face with the pinnacle of modern porn achievement: supposed reality based narratives loaded with so much intense hardcore sex, you'll start to question the validity of what you know to be "the real world." Damn, dude, that's some existential shit!

Pros:
Talk about a killer roster of pornstars! Reality Junkies has roped in some of the biggest names in the industry to perform in these original scenes. You'll find Jynx Maze, Rebeca Linares, Zoe Voss, Julia Ann, Asa Akira, Melanie Rios, Jennifer White, Nina Hartley, Dana DeArmond, Gracie Glam, and Alexis Texas (among many others) riding such distinguished boners as those of Jack Lawrence, Evan Stone, Rocco Reed, Xander Corvus, and the legendary Tommy Gunn. Reality Junkies certainly gets an A for its talent!

Reality Junkies sure does hold a lot of fantastic hardcore, most of it shot in a highly professional and impressive style. You'll see your favorite stars engaging in mostly oral and vaginal sex, but there's some anal online, too. The thematic elements very rarely get in the way of the sex and simply provide a background and a reason for such a thrilling turn of events.

Instead of simply throwing one decent video your way and expecting you to be satisfied, Reality Junkies gives its members a plethora of viewing options. High Definition formats can be downloaded or streamed and reach a staggering 1920x1080 pixel peak resolution, though lower but no less rewarding 720p, 540p, 480p, and 240p versions are available. It's doubtful many users will take advantage of every available format, but those who require something for their portable media device or HD TV are taken care of, as well as all computer users. The galleries online here also impress with photos reaching 1280x1920 pixels and looking finer than Marie McCray in her office attire.

What's more, Mr. Pink's readers can get it all for the ridiculously low price of $15.95 a month.

Cons:
Ok, so first things first. Reality Junkies in no way portrays any reality I'm aware of. I can count the number of times someone has regaled me with a believable account of nurses seducing patients on no hands at all. The sexual situations presented in Babysitter Diaries and Office Perverts are more plausible, sure, but certainly aren't likely to occur the exact way they're shown here. In that way, I guess, Reality Junkies is a lot like reality TV.

It's great to see what is primarily presented as a video site host an equal amount of photographic content and it's even more impressive to find galleries offering up to 650 high-res images. What disappoints about Reality Junkies' photo content, though, is the absence of downloadable zip files. Very, very few people are going to find manually saving hundreds upon hundreds of images from one scene a worthwhile way to spend their time.

The content count and update schedule are both a tad unnerving at the moment. The latter does not appear to have been set yet, with all scenes having been added on the same day almost two months ago. As for the content count, each DVD page offers members the chance to view a compilation or "cumpilation" scene comprised solely of, you guessed it, the ejaculatory emissions from the corresponding title. While some may see this as a great little bonus that cuts to the chase, others will surely view it more as a way of padding the archive with unoriginal material.

Conclusion:
Having only recently launched, Reality Junkies currently appears to be in a rather strange situation. All of the 131 videos and 137 image galleries were added on the same day nearly two months before the writing of this review, leaving any possible update schedule completely unclear. That said, the current archive is large enough to offer a substantially satisfying experience to many porn fans, I'm sure. The roster of pornstars assembled here is definitely a hugely positive attribute of the site, as is the extremely enjoyable, vaguely reality-themed content. Another benefit of being such a new site is that every single scene is available in gorgeous 720p and 1080p HD video formats accompanied by high-resolution images, both of which offer ample visual detail in a highly dynamic and appealing fashion. The bonus network content is an added benefit of membership and should entice a few more visitors to sign-up, as should Mr. Pink's hefty discount offer. It'll be interesting to see where Reality Junkies goes from here and I'm pleased to say that I can't imagine it'll be going anywhere but up.
